Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Ok, it's been talked about over on the Fanboys countdown thread... so here's my sad attempt.  I basically stole the Fanboys calendar layout (well, not basically... I did.)  I just changed the pictures and switched the text. :embarrassed:

What's terrifying about that?  It's cute.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Thanks... I don't know what's terrifying.  I'm my own worst critic, I guess.

That's cool. It links to the forum and not to the gallery, though.

Absolutely. If they find the MB, they'll find the site and, if they want, the gallery.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Hey, does anyone remember that article on Melissa's old Versatile page that was about Chris's alleged great grandmother and her quilting? I've uploaded it to our server (but have not linked it on our site anywhere): http://www.chris-marquette.com/content/ … ticle.html

I was curious if this was indeed one of Chris's relatives, and Tisha just confirmed that it's not. So it must be coincidence that there's both a Chris from JoA and a Sean mentioned (they didn't mention any Eric either). Do we have any other Chrises who were regulars on JoA? Can't be Kris Lemche, he's spelled with a K. Or maybe they just spelled him wrong in the article.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Did anyone else wonder what's with the Persian cat named Patches and the iguana named Wicket that were in Chris's wikipedia entry for ages? Well, I asked Tisha and she said Patches is long gone (adopted out when they got a Maltese Schnauzer, named Raisin). And they still have another Persian, named Mrs. B (after Mrs. Bigglesworth). They live with Tisha. And of course Chris still has his Bulgarian kitten, Motska. smile (Though I don't see why we have to add that to wikipedia...)

Motska would not be a kitten anymore.  She's coming up on being a year old by now...  wink

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I just found this YouTube video. Someone did a Chris tribute and lined up their favorite Chris pics with a Def Leppard song:

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Def Leppard?  Then why does the description say the song is by Hannah Montana, which makes me way too terrified to open it?

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

It is her singing, so I don't know why TeeJay said Def Leppard.   I'm not a big Def Leppard follower... is it one of their songs she did a cover of?

I'm wondering if TeeJay might've mistakenly linked the wrong video...

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Hm, in the original text that went with the video on some other site, it said it was a Def Leppard song. I didn't really listen closely (and I neither really know Def Leppard nor Hannah Montana), I have to admit. But it is the right video, the one I meant to link.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Def Leppard = hair metal band.  Hanna Montana = 14-year-old-girl.  You could say there's a significant difference.  If it was Def Lep, I'd watch it.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

On this site (http://www.perfectpeople.net/videos/125 … quette.htm) it says below that video:
Description: "Music video made with movie clips:"def leppard - pour some sugar on me": the girl next door (2004) directed by "luke greenfield": plot outline: a teenager's dreams come true when a former porn st..."

So I guess they linked the wrong video as it's not about GND... I have to admit that I didn't pay close attention. Would you if there were moving pictures of Chris to drool over? wink

I checked around YouTube, I couldn't find any video with that description... those people have no idea what they're talking about.

I think I'd notice that it was not Def Lep, yeah.  I just can't listen to little girl bubblegum pop.  Sorry.
