I've seen the "barf on your ass" one. (Ew, no thanks, Michael, I'll pass.) But wasn't there some dialogue in the beginning? The teacher says something in class, doesn't she? About what the future might bring or something like that.

-TeeJay

No, there's no dialogue at the beginning or anywhere else in it at all. It starts with music and the song runs all through it. At the very end the music stops and Michael has that one line.

I see, Larry. Actually, the teaser I was talking about is this one:

http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseacti … d=20575160

The one where they used the Alexi Murdoch song. I guess they took that off the official site...

That one is not on the site, no.

I love it -- that opening shot with Michael slipping and slamming into the car was a mistake, by the way. They did a couple of takes but it was so funny they decided to go with that one. It hurt, too.

That's Michael? I didn't even realize. So he's the high-pitched voice screaming "Last day of school, bitches"? And, ouch. Hope he didn't hurt himself too bad.

Yup, that's Michael almost killing himself. Michael is the one yelling "oh s***." The "bitches" line was Sean's, I believe. He's the one on the passenger side.

Yup. His character is a riot in the film. Although not necessarily intentionally. Actually, everyone is a bit clueless -- it's a very funny movie. That may have been his best moment, though. I was literally ROFL. I almost busted a rib laughing. Especially knowing it wasn't "acting."

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

In more redunkulous news out of Hollyweird, they geniuses behind this movie have decided to change the title from the rather poetic, The Beautiful Ordinary to the retarded, Remember The Daze, to capitalize on people thinking it's a remake of Dazed & Confused.  I shit you not.

Just shoot me now...

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

Someone find an inoculation for the virus that seems to spread rapidly through Hollywood that makes people mess with things that they shouldn't mess with! Quick!

This is almost as ridiculous as the changes they're planning to Fanboys. Next thing we know, they'll rewrite Chris's and Sean's storyline and start with reshoots...

I saw that guy's post on IMDb and am checking it out. It came as a surprise and is a mystery to several people associated with the film. :clueless:

Okay, thanks. I'd CC'd her as well. I'll look into it. It's the distribution news the guy posted which is more puzzling than the name change. But I'll update my posts and sites to reflect the new name.

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

Okay, guys, you gotta help me out here. I tried updating everything on the site that has to do with the movie (i.e. change the title). But I might have missed something. What I've edited is the following:

- Entry in Chris's and Sean's filmography
- Filmography synopsis for the movie
- Applicable section in the Upcoming Projects page
- Link to the official site in Miscellaneous Links
- Album in the gallery
- Thread on the message board

Can anyone recall any other instances where we mention the movie on the website? If so, please let me know. Guess I should edit the biography too.

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

It's a really lame title, but they can call it anything they want as long as they don't cut Chris's part.

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

Don't flame me, but...having seen the film I can tell you that the title was baffling to those of us who saw it. It really doesn't say anything about the movie and certainly doesn't give anyone any idea of what it's about. And that is, ultimately, death for any film.

While the new title may be a ripoff (or an homage, however you want to look at it) of Dazed and Confused, the fact is that really is what the film is most like. Frankly, it is much better at indicating what the movie is about and is much more likely to get people to want to see it, and isn't that what we want?

I hate to disagree with you guys, as we are all on the same side here, but I can honestly tell you that this title is much better, in my opinion. Please think about it and give it a chance to sink in. Everyone I know who saw the film was scratching their heads over the old title and prayed that they would change it. I'm happy. :applause:
