Re: Randomness

Do You Remember? was one of the best ever written, I think.  The Prodigal Chicken just caught who Adam and Joan were so quickly.  And the story is totally :drool:

Oh, and Donna? If you can't find these stories online anymore, let me know and I'll e-mail them to you. I have them all either as HTML or Word docs.

Re: Randomness

There are a lot of those I haven't read.  The only one by allatraka I've read is "Aracadia".  I didn't know she wrote others.

Re: Randomness

Can you link that one for me, Laura?  I could use some hotness that I didn't write.  And Donna, I just decided that we should hold the next chapter of Butterflies hostage until you watch T&E.  Once you do, then we'll publish it so nyah!  tongue

I don't remember it being all that steamy.  It was sweet.

Re: Randomness

You know what? I have this unfinished "thing" lying on my hard drive that Tote and I once wrote together. Unfortuanately, we never got to finish it and it stops right in the middle. I'm not inclined to finish it on my own either since we didn't have a clear outline or a plan. Would you like me to post it in the fan fic thread?

Warning: Post T&E, so it's kinda depressing and angsty. Bonnie's in it too.

Re: Randomness

Is that the thing you showed me some parts of? I'd like to know the rest of it too. But then again, I still have to read the new Butterflies ... which I will do this weekend.

Re: Randomness

It's called The Shed Collection. I don't know if I showed it to you, Anne. It's been lying untouched on my hard drive for a loooooong time.

Re: Randomness

You're gonna be frustrated, Donna.  It had great potential, but there's not much to it as I remember.  You're just gonna wish there was more.

Re: Randomness

We've given Donna lists of stuff to read.  How about a list of what not to read?

1. Nicest of the Damned - Werewolfe (Werewolf?  Werewolff?  The Writer of JoA Pr0n?)  Seriously, don't go near it.  You'll want scrape your eyeballs out of their sockets.
2. anything by CharlesTheBold (Uncle Chuckie)  We all have our reasons.  I don't like that he makes Adam wear "trousers" and that Joan is never naked.  No.  She's in "the all together".

Oh, and anything by that American Idiot kid... I joke.... maybe.

Re: Randomness

I would have to agree with Laura on all but the American Idiot comment.  Man, Werewolf and Charles should hang out sometime.  Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall for that one?

Re: Randomness

Wow.  How did I miss "Do You Remember?"  That was beautiful!  I loved it!  The only thing that bugged me was him alternating between Jane & Joan for no reason.  I guess the author didn't understand the significance of the way he used those names.

He probably didn't.  Like I said, it was written very early in the series.  It seemed like it was Jane when Adam was being quite and gentle and Joan when he was getting a bit of an attitude or they were in more mature circumstances.

Okay ladies, here I go I am watching T&E right now. I tried to make my husband watch it with me but he won't. He knows how much I am dreading this. He promised to get me the DVD's for my b-day in august. So that should make you (and me!!) happy, Deb. Hopefully some of you will still be one later when I come back sobbing.:crying::crying::crying:

That's soo true. That wolf guy wrote nasty fics about JOA. They were soo gross and he didn't even use proper grammar or spelling. He can't write.

ya I haven't watched it yet. I was streaming it and it was right at the part where the camera zooms up from Bonnie lying in "someone's" lap. And it stopped. I think I am going to puke.:puke:

Re: Randomness

I do, too, Susanna!  And remember, Bonnie didn't owe Joan any particular loyalty.  She wasn't the one who betrayed Joan.  The person who did that was much closer to home.  That's why it hurt so much.

It's hard to watch, Donna.  But you do have to see it.  Those performances will knock your socks off.  Heartbreaking!
