Re: 2x19 Trial & Error

Yeah, I agree twice is way worse.  It's like they couldn't be happy with just throwing Adam under the bus, they had to back up and run over him a few more times.  Does anyone watch Friday Night Lights?  What they did to Landry this season is similar.  They made the sweetest boy in the world a murderer.  And it wasn't an accident.

WTF is it with these idiotic showrunners who become so hellbent on destroying their best creations?

Re: 2x19 Trial & Error

Oh and Susanna, those really nice sweet guys do exist. I married an Adam (pre-bonnie Adam of course). We met in high school at 18, got married 9 years later and had a beautiful baby girl. We were each others first really boyfriend/girlfriend. And believe it or not he was the one who wanted to wait to get physical. (That's how they should have wrote Adam, with Jane being the horndog) He is the sweetest, most loving, understanding man. (And he looks like Chris too hee hee;) Eyebrows, baby it's all about the eyebrows). Have faith and don't settle for anything less. He probably won't like that I am blabbing all about him on the internet but oh well. He just popped in a minute ago and asked how my new boyfriend Chris was doing:P. See he even understands all of this.

That's so wonderful to hear Donna!  You are a very lucky woman.  So you like the way Adam and Joan are written in Butterflies, huh?  Because that's exactly the way I see them.  Once she got a taste of that man, she just couldn't get enough.  I wish they'd written it like that on the show too.  But you know what?  If T&E hadn't happened, none of us would be here right now.

Wow, Susanna.  Good idea comparing Adam Rove's "sins" to biblical Adam's "sins".   Don't loose faith in guys.  Remember, Adam's just a fictional teenage boy who's writers got lazy and all got together "Ok, he's a teenager with raging hormones, right?  Joan won't sleep with him, right?  So the only logical thing to happen is to bring in someone who will sleep with him... right?"  While Moonves was sitting in his big leather chair "teenagers like angst and sex.  The only way to get more teenage viewers is to have cheating angsty sex!  The fact that almost no teenagers are home Friday night at 8 has nothing to do with the low teenage demographic!  Oh, and they'll all stay home to see Hilary Duff and her sister... what's her name?"

... wow.   That felt good.

You go Laura! You really said everything that needs to be said and you're 100% right!
