Um, you think I'm worried about graphic? I'm worried about Adam + Bonnie = pain.

Graphic between Bonnie and Adam? You should be. Adam+Bonnie doesn't really = pain. Adam+wire cutters=pain.

Sorry :embarrassed: Adam getting hurt probably isn't as bad as it sounds. He'd just need a band aid. Maybe a couple stitches. He'll live.

if only....
Donna
If only all that happened between Bonnie and Adam was a messed up bj? Yeah, that would have been nice
Offline
if only it was just an almost bj and he actually did say no.

btw you have WAY to many stories. I have been glued to the computer reading them for about three hours already and I have finished maybe a tenth of them, if that. Not that I am complaining. Keep it up, not that I will ever catch up:P:D

Yeah, I know. 254 JoA stories and growing (315 total). Sometimes I wonder why people think I no longer need therapy

I love it!!! The one about Bonnie getting pregnant was freaky, that was my first instinct when she wanted to talk to adam so badly before mock trial, and then she just diasapeared.
Offline
That was the first thing I thought too. But when you think about it, it had to be something else. Like she saw him with Joan, still seemingly happy, and needed to stir it up. It had only been a week or two, not a very good chance that she'd already know she's pregnant
But none the less, Bonnie getting pregnant/having his baby is a storyline I tend to abuse. I think I've only written two or three... but that's still too much.

Nothing can be more out-of-this-world than what Uncle Chuckie wrote: Bonnie getting knocked up by some dude and the Roves taking pity on her, taking her in because her dude left her. Excuse me while I go and :puke:

What? He actually wrote that? That would just never never happen. Adam and his dad are tight on cash as it is, they wouldn't take in a pregnant girl who nearly ruined Adam's life when it's not even his baby. Adam wouldn't let it happen, for Joan's sake, I think he'd want to keep Bonnie as far away from them as possible.
Offline
oh god that is just terrible. But strangely I could see Adam doing that. Thank god I don't actually have to SEE any this for real. I want to puke just thinking about it.
Offline
Yeah, I think it was one of his first stories. You know, back when I didn't know how terrible they were and actually tried to open my mind enough to read what he wrote. I quickly gave up after that. Don't think I ever finished that one either.

I disagree sort of - pre bonnie adam would help her out, but post bonnie adam is a dick...too everyone. But I guess that doesn't really make sense. I don't know what I mean.

And somebody wrote one where he MARRIED her and it wasn't his kid. I HATE that crap.
BTW, Laura, it wasn't a couple of of weeks between the A/B tryst and the confrontation outside Mock Trial. It was a couple of DAYS.

I know what you mean, Donna
The only part of Chuckie's series I read was the one when Adam and Joan got married, because I'm just weird like that and like to them married and happy. But I couldn't get past the fact that Joan insisted she wasn't ready to have sex, then some version of God married them. Then suddenly, she's ready! Just because (in God's eyes) she's a married woman. Married=ready to have sex in Chuckie's eyes.

Well, he's probably über-Catholic... No sex before marriage, you know? I think he must be in his 40's or 50's. Not sure if maybe he even said he was.

I know about the no sex before marriage. But I still find it slightly ridiculous that Joan would suddenly be ready to have sex just because there's a ring on her finger. If you're not ready to have sex, you aren't ready to have sex. Marriage or no marriage.

Well, he was projecting his own beliefs onto her, what do you expect? He's an "old dude" who doesn't know shit about what teenagers are like these days. Have you ever heard modern day teenagers speak the way he writes their dialogue? I mean, even I am too old to really know what teenagers are like these days. And I'm sure my teenage Adam and Joan often sound way too mature.

Your teenage Adam and Joan are perfect, I think. It's good to show some signs of maturity when you're writing a 17/18 year old. Just don't make them sound like they're in their sixties, which you never do

Gee, thanks.
