The all-inkl.com guys said they hadn't changed anything about the spam filters yet, so that can't be the reason. Maybe it'll get better after they do. He asked for me to send him two spam mail headers, which I just did (thanks for the help, Anne!). Maybe they'll have an idea how to filter those mails since they pretty much all seem to come from the same spammer, juding from the way they look. (Not that I really look at every one of them.)

Just for the record: They're usually really good with the support. I e-mailed them and I had an answer in my mailbox 10 minutes later. German efficiency.

Just what I thought, the support guys told us to buy their spam filter or filter them locally on our computers (there's software that will do that). He said they're not being sent by us or our contact form on the website, whatever that means. So.... what now? Buy the spam filter or you deleting the account and me forwarding whatever comes in?

Actually, I could have the mail forwarded to your other e-mail accounts that might have a built-in spam filter (like GMX). Would that be worth a shot?

Since the info@ addy is already being spammed, I suggest giving that one out when we pass our website e-mail on anywhere outside of this board and our site. You agree?

I asked them how the spam filter works that you can buy, and I got a lenghty e-mail back, explaining it in detail. Sounds okay, but I think we should see first of the switch-over to the new filters they were gonna install does anything to improve the flood of spam. Deb, do you wanna switch your info@ account off in the meantime? Let me know, and I'll forward you anything that comes in other than spam.

They're not coming in as fast as they were that one day. I'm only getting 2-3 a day now. That's not so bad. I'm OK for now.
