I made a sad attempt at a Joan/Adam story. Sorry about the lack of stories... October Road kicked my JoA muse out of its place in the front of my brain.

Anyway, Adam should know by now he can't attempt to be subtly romantic... it doesn't work with Joan.

I did indeed. Come on, you know I did. Too bad Ronnie's probably not as "gifted" as Adam is as well as being blessed. I think he's gonna have to find his way in that department. He didn't have a Layla. But it would be fun to take up younger, fumblier Adam again some day. Where did we leave off...?
