Adam: "Oh, no. I don't care if you're a cheerleader, subdefective, or whatever. I just like hanging out with you because.. you're Jane."

Really? I think it looks very snazzy. I love those silky ties. But I can't decide whether I like the waistcoat or not. wink

Waistcoat?  You mean vest?

Yeah. Was wasistcoat the wrong word? My dictionary says they're both the same.

A coat has sleeves.  A vest does not.

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

I thought a waistcoat was something without sleeves. That's how I've heard it being used before. Maybe it's a British word... But vest works for me. Similar to the German word, which is Weste. smile

Yeah, it's British.  I remember reading the word in old novels.  I think they pronounce it 'westcut', sort of.

I've also heard a blouse called a "shirtwaist" in old books.  But I think that's kind of archaic, while I think the word waistcoat is still used.

Yep, there's a link for it on the Torrent search engines. Wonder if it's actually the movie, sometimes they "disguise" porn by naming it something innocuous-seeming.

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

No, people on IMDb have seen it.  At least three of them.  But now that they've posted about it, I'm sure it'll get removed.

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

I don't think they can remove it at this point. If it's in the BitTorrent system, it's out there. With BitTorrent, you download it from other people's computers, and there's no way to remove it from there unless the police takes your computer away.

Is it a version that was filmed in the theater with a video camera or is actually a DVD rip?

There's a MaximoTV clip on YouTube where they interview a lot of the cast at the premiere, including Aron Himelstein. No sign of Chris or Sean, though. sad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzywoHxNIC8

Of course not.  What are they, lepers?  This is very annoying.

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

They interviewed Amber Heard, Leighton Meester, Alexa Vega, Melonie Diaz, Charles Chen, Jess Manafort, Aron Eisenberg, Lyndsy Fonseca, Shahine Ezell and I think Wesley Jonathan. I might have missed one or two, I didn't know anyone other than Aron and Amber and wouldn't have recognized them if they hadn't captioned their names.

And Doug Smith, who's actually one of only two actors prominently featured on the cover, which makes it really odd.

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

Not sure if this has been posted:

Chris Marquette seems to be having so much fun that we want to follow him everywhere he goes..."I got to work with my brother [Sean Marquette] and that was cool. He called me, I had some free time. I met with Jess, she was awesome, and we did it". Chris, who is real-life older brother to Sean, got to play the older brother on celluloid as well. It was a smart decision as their chemistry is fun, light and obvious.

No, haven't read that before, Larry. Thanks for posting. Yeah, I bet Chris had a ton of fun shooting the movie. Did you read what he told us about it when we interviewed him in 2006?

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

Yeah, that's very cool, Larry.  He told us that originally Felix was just an older friend that Mod sold drugs for, but when he met with Jess, she decided to rewrite the part and make them brothers.  Pretty awesome.  big_smile

Re: Remember The Daze (formerly The Beautiful Ordinary)

Found three more pics from the premiere on IESB:

RTD_premiere_19.JPG

RTD_premiere_20.JPG

RTD_premiere_21.JPG

I love the one with Chris, Jess and Sean. Could Jess's dress be any shorter? wink She must be really tall, at least 5'9.
