Re: Graduation

Hey, the Graduation Facebook site finally approved me (and Laura and Annie)! However, there isn't anything on it (yet?) that we haven't seen. In fact, it has a lot less material than the MySpace site.

Re: Graduation

Is there a reason you're posting only the small version here but the big version on IMDb, Deb?

Can't say I'm crazy about the poster. I had hoped for something that'd feature the guys' faces and not just their backs. I like framing movie posters and hanging them in my apartment if I like them, but I wouldn't consider this one worthy of being framed and hung.

I didn't post the smaller version, Brian did.  And then he emailed us a high res version.  You really gotta slow down when you read stuff.  wink

Oh, true. Sorry, I wasn't quite awake yet when I first checked the board this morning. Anyway, thanks so much for the hi-res version, Brian!! Very much appreciated.

Re: Graduation

It's alright, I am not loving it. I would like to see their faces too. I think it would have helped to sell the movie too since the other chris is getting pretty popular with private practice, but not too many people actually know his name.  Definitely better than the dvd covers though. I really hated them.

Re: Graduation

You didn't like the DVD cover for Graduation? I kinda liked that one. Better than the movie poster, and not only because Chris's face is on it. wink

Re: Graduation

Well, I didn't but I just went back to check it out again, and I guess I don't hate it as much as I thought. Chris and Chris look lovely, but I don't like the swat team part of it. It would have been cool to have those pics of the chris's (and the other guys I guess) on the poster instead of a running shannon.

Re: Graduation

I'm guessing the poster will also have a totally different "look" to it when you see it blown up to actual poster size. It's not a bad poster, but it's also not one that I'd fall in love with. I'm very particular about visual art that I like, it's not just movie posters.

Re: Graduation

I really don't wanna discuss this to death, but I guess we're all being a bit spoiled here (myself included). Of course we'd all love to see Chris's face on the poster, but you also gotta keep in mind that a movie poster is made to attract people's interest, and at the same time capture what it is advertising: the movie it is for. I'm guessing that's why they went with a less actor-focused and more plot-focused poster. Hope it does the trick and makes people go watch the movie! smile

Re: Graduation

That is all that matters really. If they let us design the poster it would be a huge pic of preferably semi-naked Chris and that's it.

LOL. Yep. I would allow a tiny Lowell, Riley and Shannon on it somewhere too, but only as long as they don't distract you from looking at semi-naked Marquette. big_smile

Re: Graduation

Well, yeah, Donna, you're right.  And I'm just as bad as you are, if not worse.  I even have pics of my ideal Mr. Lovejoy --- just a visual aid to help me imagine what's behind The Silk.  Er, I mean it's research, for the fic.  Yeah, that's it.  Yeah.  :embarrassed:
