Yeah, that's a good one.  The closest I could find was on a YouTube video someone made, it's about 27 seconds in, and "Albert" looks like he's 5 or 6:

For some strange reason it's hard to find photos from a series that went off the air 25 years ago. :clueless:

I really thought it'd be easier to find a pic.  Nope.  But you're right about that little tribute.  Very cute.

Thanks, Brian. Sounds great. I'll post it in the front page news on our site and I'll also notify the Riley Smith and Chris Lowell gals.

Re: Graduation

That is great news for the movie, but I don't have HD.  Hope lots more people see it and enjoy it in high quality!  So cool that Magnolia is rolling it out so beautifully.  smile

Re: Graduation

Seeing "Graduation" on a big TV screen instead of on my small computer screen was much better! The DVD has much better quality and sound compared to watching it on the computer. I'm soo glad I bought it!!  smile

Re: Graduation

Wow, I had no idea that Mark Cuban owned Magnolia.  That explains why it's such a cool company!  He's got so many ideas about how to revolutionize entertainment.  It all makes sense now.

Cuban To Put "Sneak Previews" On Dish

Magnolia Pictures, the indie film company owned by former Internet entrepreneur and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, plans to present a "sneak preview" of its forthcoming movie Finding Amanda on the DISH satellite network's DISH On-Demand between June 13 and 26. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically one later later, on June 27. It will cost subscribers $10.99 to see the movie in standard definition and $11.99 for high definition. In a statement, Andy Karofsky, vice president of programming for DISH, said that eventually, "our subscribers will see an even wider variety of programming options, including movies that are available on the same day as DVDs are released and others before they are released in theaters."

Re: Graduation

Thanks Deb.  I watched Graduation after your mention in the other thread.  I am a sucker for heist movies, and this was a really fun one.  It had all of the right kind of twists, and that wonderful aha moment when you realise how it is going to work out.  It also worked really well on the life changing story.  It is amazing how life really does change after high school, and it caught that really well.  The future for Lowell's character was a little movieish, but the rest really felt right.  Basically a cool little movie with a little something to say, what more can you want?

Re: Graduation

So glad you enjoyed it, Rick.  Fun is the word.  It just really gives me a smile.  And I love seeing both Adam Arkin and Glynnis O'Connor in it.  Longtime fans of both of them.  The extras are cool, too.  We even have special affection for the slide show about the statue that Bruton Jones made because we met Bruton on the set of the aborted Revenge Of The Nerds remake.  Well, he introduced himself to us when he heard who we were and told us about working with Chris before on Grad.  Such a cool guy.  Brian Ralston, Mike Mayer, Matt Uhry and Jon Silberg have all been very kind to us throughout the movie's journey to final release.  And of course to most of us here at C-M.com, as I've said before, nobody's cuter than Carl.  Chris really knocked his character out of the ballpark.  He got to do it all --- comedy, tragedy, romance, suspense.  I'm obviously biased, but I am very satisfied with the DVD.

Re: Graduation

ok, so i finally saw graduation ( yey me for catching up with chris's movies tongue ).  it's a very nice movie to watch on  a hot afternoon. even if the heist could probably never be pulled off like that , the whole story works nicely. chris's part is so funny and warm. i loved it.
but as for the life changing after high school , well, that part never happened to me so i can not relate to it. i have a job and all but i still have the feeling i have not found my path. i married but my godmother at the wedding and my mades of honor were my best friends from highschool ( they still are my best friends ). i wish i was all grown up and ready to rob banks tongue ( or maybe not really ) but i realized that growing up is something i have to fake because it's not coming naturally to me.

so the movie must be good if it made me go all bla,bla,bla..:embarrassed: sorry for rambling , i felt a need for it :embarrassed:
