That's the front of the house that I live in, my apartment actually faces the rear. All the windows face the south, so, yes, there is LOTS of light. A little too much in the summer. We don't usually have air condition in our houses, thus it can get quite warm in the summer. But I don't mind all that much, I can stand heat better than cold.

No, I only have a wooden angel-like thing on my living room window. It's supposed to be a guardian angel, and it's not one of those kitschy things. Got it from my mom when I moved into my first apartment in Essen. You can't really see my apartment very well from the outside since it's the third story. All you can really see is the balcony and that's not very nice to look at right now because I haven't done anything with it for over a year. I just don't use it often enough to be motivated to put flowers and decoration on it. Which is kinda sad.

I meant to tell you guys something funny Joe said today. I mentioned to him about Clay Aiken and his best friend, the 50-year-old lady having a baby togetehr and it freaked him out real bad. He can't stand Clay. And he thinks the lady is hideous. She's not that bad. She's more or less a nice looking lady in the pic I saw, but Joe was so wigged out he started yelling at me to stop conjuring up the images. Then, to stop me, he yelled, "Shia LeBeouf!" and covering his ears. When I was like, "What? She's not Debbie Rowe." He screamed, "Shia LeBeouf NAKED! Please stop!" I don't know who grossed out who the most, but we changed the subject.

Here's another trans-species story... a mother Jack Russell Terrier is nursing four kittens, as well as her two pups. In the video they just showed on the news one of the puppies and a kitten were asleep in the corner of the doggy bed, cuddled together. It was adorable.

We have a Tornado Warning for my county right now. Luckily the tornado is many miles south near Monee & Crete.

The Weather Channel is also reporting that Milwaukee, Wisconsin got hit fairly hard as well.
