Ah, thanks Deb! I'm reading through the posts that I've missed now, but this helps a bunch.
I have yet to see Graduation -- the past few months I've been awful at keeping up with movies and television. I wonder if I could find it at a Blockbuster. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it! When Chris said he didn't care for the way it turned out a few months back, I expected it to be disappointing. Not that it sucking would keep me away, because...it's a Chris movie, but good to hear that it's enjoyable.
I just read TeeJay's review on Remember the Daze and watched the clips that were uploaded. So glad I got to see Chris (and Sean!) in a role so completely different from anything he's done before. I'll definitely be renting this one. I'm curious to see Michael's part in it as well.
Big project?! Good news about Fanboys!?! WOOHOO!
Hopefully I stop neglecting my fandoms now that life has settled a bit. Thanks a bunch for the quick updates

Graduation is great fun. We think maybe Chris never saw the final version. It's very emotional. Really likable characters, all of them. And he's so damn cute and sweet it's just ridiculous. I think you'll love it.

Welcome back, Brenna, we've really missed you!
Have you read my Graduation review? It's by no means a masterpiece, and I think Chris has very high expectations for the movies he's in and his own performance. Graduation didn't live up to his expectations, so that's why he didn't care for the movie. I don't know the script or anything other than the final version of it, so maybe he's right in saying that it could have become more than it finally turned out to be in the end. All I can say is that I, as a consumer and Chris fan, loved it for what it is. It sure has some plot holes and inconsistencies, but it's still great fun. And I can only second Deb when I say Chris is adorable in it.
Remember The Daze--same thing. Not a masterpiece. The chief complaint people are having is that it has no story to speak of. It's basically just drinking and weed-smoking people being followed around with a camera on their last day of school. But it still is entertaining and has this certain innocent feel to it that has its own beauty. If you're expecting a plot-driven movie and a protagonist to root for, it's certainly not a movie you will enjoy.
I think Deb covered pretty much all of the recent updates. Not sure what's going on with Sean, actually. His movie American Son (that Mike Welch is also in) is doing the festival tour this summer, it seems. And he's in Remember The Daze too, of course.

Hey TeeJay! Missed you too!
Yeah, somewhere along the line I predicted that Graduation would be less than great, but that's okay with me. I'm sure Chris is great in it, as usual. And the same goes for Remember the Daze. I'll probably enjoy watching it simply because there are lots of familiar faces in the cast.
It's good to be back. Going to try my best to stick around this time, hahaha.

I don't want anyone thinking Graduation is lame except for Chris. That's just not true. It's a tight, clever little movie. And all the principals are wonderful. Aimee Garcia is terrific. And Lowell is so charming and innocent. So is Shannon Lucio. I just loved it.
