Which films from a year ago through now U have little interest in

Which films from a year ago through recent/ near future do you have little to no interest in watching?

I used the IMDB "Playing Now" feature.

Try to keep it to releases from major studios and/or big releases.

Yeah I know some of these are good films, such as Juno. It's just that the subject matter of the films doesn't appeal to me.

I'm with you with some of those, but I can tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed Juno, Martian Child, Dan In Real Life and Definitely, Maybe. As I would classify some of those "chick flicks", I can see how they might not appeal to you, Illinois. smile However, Juno might just surprise you if you wanted to give it a shot after all.

I'll likely catch some of these on regular cable in the future.

Boy do I see alot of bad movies.  Your list pretty much agrees with how I felt about all of these releases (I had no interest in almost all of them) yet I have seen 9 of them.  7 were as bad as I expected, Made of Honor was okay and Juno was pretty good.  I guess that is the downside of Netflix, it makes it so easy to see videos, that I will try almost anything.

I'm sure you've got state-of-the-art playback there Rick, so renting from Netflix is a good way to go.  Much better than the modern-day theater experience most of the time.  It's kinda like me with cable.  I end up watching a lot of crap I would never actively seek out.  Once in a while you run across a real gem though.  And if you love movies, of course you're gonna see a few really bad ones.  I sometimes even end up loving the bad ones.  Oooh, we should start a guilty pleasures thread for movies and shows we know are terrible but we love them anyway!

It could be fun, if everyone is brave enough to say real ones (no Plan Nine From Outer Space).  For example, I really enjoyed The Exorcist 3.  Not even sure why I watched it, but it was really creepy and interesting, maybe low expectations figure into these things.

Rick, I loved The Exorcist 3, mainly because of Brad Dourif's utterly stunning performance.  That guy's amazing!
