They do that? Why not use the head hair? Plus, I think a blood test would be more reliable. Unless they wanted to test for previous exposure to drugs. Don't they only test the hair to find out if you've used drugs in the past, at a time where it's not detectable in the blood anymore? Am I asking too many questions?

If I wanted to be an obnoxious smartass, I would paste from wikipedia.

Hair drug testing
Hair drug testing can provide a much longer window of detection, which is useful for highly safety critical positions where there is zero tolerance of drug usage. Even if the person being tested has a shaved head (perhaps in preparation for the test), hair can also be taken from almost any other area of the body. This includes the underarms, arms, legs, and pubic area.
It costs more than urine testing, and one must have a lab for results.

The head hair is easily washed and can come back clean. Usually if the urine test is clean, the blood test would most likely be too because there's over the counter pills to cleanse your system quickly. Maybe you are, but oddly enough I can give answers. :doh:

And yeah, there are different ways to test him... but pulling hair out of his head just wouldn't have been funny...

Awwwww. Yes, he is a man of many talents. Cooking wouldn't really surprise me if I was Joan though. He's probably been fending for himself in the kitchen for years since his mom died. And I bet she was the kind of mom who got him to help with cake baking and brownie making too.

I was actually gonna put chalkboard paint into the story, but it didn't make very much sense the way I wanted to use it. And no, I don't have kids of my own but there is a little boy in my life who inspired this and just figured out that if he goes up to the wall holding a crayon it will usually make pretty colors
