Thanks for making and putting up the new caps of the Helen & Adam scene from Shadows & Light and the utterly priceless Grace & Adam scene from that same ep. They are so very cute! You did a great job with the capping!

And that's what I call multitasking because I was chatting with you at the same time. I'll try to do the other scenes we still have on the to-do list soon.

I just put up St. Joan and P.O.V.! God, I love P.O.V., especially that Judith/Adam scene. I might even go as far as saying that I think those are the most beautiful Adam shots of the whole series. I could stare at those beautiful pictures for hours on end.

I was just going through the POV caps and I wanted to note that in the caps around #41, you can see that Adam's t-shirt has been taped over with silver duct tape. They were obviously trying to obscure what it says. But why? Why would wardrobe put him in something and then cover it up?

Are you sure that's duct tape and it's not the t-shirt that's made that way? To me it looks like the t-shirt is supposed to be that way. I can't see no duct tape.

I think it's the shirt is made that way. It makes no sense to me that they wanted Adam to wear something they have to cover on screen.
And TIna, why did you post the POV caps backwards?

They do this on TV shows all the time. Trust me, it's duct tape. Look at all the photos of that scene. The only thing I can think of is that they liked the fit and color of the shirt and wardobe didn't think about what it said so they sent him off to shoot in it. Then they decided at the last minute that they couldn't advertise whatever it's advertising, so they taped over it. I have seen this hundreds of times. Look again.

I still can't see the sense of duct-taping a shirt for screen. I looked at the pics a second time and for me the shirt doesn't look taped. It seems like you can still read the letters over the duct-tape. It's hard to explain for me in English, sorry.

The letters are also silver and they're UNDER the tape. If you can read those words, tell me what they say.

I can't read it, I just see the letters are OVER the shirt. I don't care what it said. Like I said, to me it makes to sense to have an actor wearing something on screen which has to be taped. They should either give him another shirt or make sure that he's allowed to wear it on TV screen. But that's just my opinion and I don't want to argue with you about that.

I may now proudly announce that I've gone through each and every s1 episode on the DVDs from start to finish and have tried to capture every good Adam shot (with the help of Anne for ep 1x15). That means our JoA s1 screencaps are as complete as I can make them. Now I gotta wait for the s2 box set to get here. Some time in December, I'm guessing. Might not be before x-mas, since I guess there's gonna be a lot of x-mas "traffic" with packets being sent around the world to family and loved ones. Oh well, it'll get here when it'll get here. It's not like another three or four weeks will kill me by this point.

Love all of the caps you posted. Yeah, they're so cute and so in love. <sigh> When I watched 1x20 to cap it, it made me realize that it's really the only episode where Adam and Joan are happy and good all the way. He smiles a lot, and it suits him. In pretty much all the other episodes, there's always something that goes wrong with them or where they disagree or get into smaller or bigger fights. I love seeing Adam happy, although I'd have to agree when Deb says that you get the best out of Chris when you give him a tortured character to play.
