I don't really know.
I didn't know that this was gonna be an Adam/Joan fic until I was done with it... it started out for another couple in another show about why they didn't want kids, but when I was finished I decided I wanted it to be Adam and Joan instead. So I changed the setting, names and a few words. Instant Adam/Joan fic!

You might need to change more than the names... like in my fic, one major thing I had to change was the character's ages (which was a big deal originally). I just left Adam and Joan's ages out. So anything that out of character or doesn't match up, your head will need to change.
