Okay, so we're using the punBB forum right now. Everyone like it? Should we keep it? Is there anything about it that you absolutely don't like? Maybe I could find a hack or a plugin for it. There's a punBB support message board where you ask/look for that kind of stuff.

Oh, and I can really recommend to anyone to install a bbCode Firefox addon, that makes formatting things in posts so much easier. One of them can be found here:

With that, you can simply mark a text in your post while you compose it and with a right-click access the bbCode menu and choose whatever function you want. I only just remembered to install that on my computer and I think I will be using it a lot. It should work with any PHP message board that can do bbCode, which I think it most of them now, so it doesn't only work on this message board. (With the bbCode Xtra addon, you need to use the bbcodeXtra thing and not the htmlXtra or xhtmlXtra menus. If you have no idea what they're for, deactivate them since you probably will not use anything but the bbcodeXtra menu.)

I just added a calendar to the forum. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to change the "Calendar" link up there into the local language profiles, so it'll stay the English word "Calendar" in the other languages we offer. I might ask about that on the punBB support forum.

Anyway, we now have a link to calendar in the forum navigation menu. I already added a few events. Feel free to add stuff. Also, there's now a birthday entry screen in everyone's profile. Anne, I'm not sure about your birth year. If you want your age to show up, feel free to enter it in your profile.

It's not the greatest of calendars, I have to admit that, but I think it'll do. It would be really neat if people could keep adding details for when any of Chris's stuff is shown on TV. You US people are more in tune with that, I guess.

Oh, and when I first set up the calendar, I got a couple of error messages when I tried to access certain forum pages (like the Profile page). If you get any errors, please let me know, so I can try to fix it.

I changed the year.
I think the calender is a nice addition to the forum, so we can add important dates and won't miss anything.

Oh, and if any of you guys would like for your birthdays to show up in our calendar, all you have to do is enter your birthday in your user profile, it will automatically show up in the calendar. You don't have to give your year of birth either. I find that feature really nifty.
