I really did have nightmares...About that damn water beast thing.

I was swimming in a pool and it was under me trying to eat my toes. THEN when I climbed out it chased after me and it had a call like some kind of bird/pig/zombie things from I Am Legend. It chased me into the house and I swear that screaming/screeching thing haunted me even when I woke up.

I saw my boss's little son today. He is such a cutie! He was born just three days before I had my job interview with this grandfather. I took that as a piece of luck. And as you can see, it worked, because one and a half years later, I'm still at the company! And the boy looks so much like his dad! LOL Maybe I should post a pic of them on the imdb boards, so the people there would learn what a real look-a-like is. (Nah, don't think I would do that. LOL)

Carol, you were right. Dale said it was like 105 degrees in Dallas and she suffered. She got back early. She's in the office now --- and happy to be back in the 95 degree Atlanta weather.

Haven't been on here for a while. Internet went out Sunday night and finally got it back a few hours ago.

Yesterday the weather was bad here. Hot & humid with a heat index of 107. Then last night we had these bad storms go through. High winds of over 60 MPH, very heavy rain and so much lightning that the best way I could describe it was like a celeb getting blinded by hundreds of paparazzi taking their photos and all the flashes going off in their faces. We even had tornado sirens going off. Don't know for sure if any tornadoes actually were seen or not yet.

The good news is that the weather should be great this weekend with highs in the upper 70's.

Wow, sounds nasty. Glad you're okay. Germany's weather hasn't been very summery lately. We've had a bout of warmer weather for a few days, but now it's overcast with temps in the lower 70's. I'm wearing long-sleeved clothes (we don't have A/C in the office).

Just south of here is getting hammered again this morning with more bad storms.

They are reporting on the news that several homes around the area had their roofs ripped off, including one in Bolingbrook which is just slightly North of here.

Griffith Indiana has alot of damage including roofs torn off houses.

This morning 243,000 people are without power in N. Illinois.
