Cooper can't read Carol's Witch Mountain DVDs. Great. So I have to wait until I'm at my parents's house again, they have a codefree DVD player. Or I need to find someone who's willing to purchase one for me. LOL (Any volunteers around here? )

Well they have confirmed that tornadoes did hit Illinois during that storm. One was in Bolingbrook, which is just North of here.

Some of the worst damage was in Bolingbrook, where at least a dozen roofs were ripped off homes by a tornado that cut a swath of damage 1 mile long and 50 yards wide with wind speeds of up to 110 m.p.h. Two homes were left uninhabitable, officials said, and 24 were damaged.
James Richmond stood Tuesday on the back porch of his home on Lily Cache Lane, looking at a piece of his roof that had peeled off and landed in a neighbor's pool. His wife, Sharon, had just come home from the gym Monday when she heard the storm hit.
When it passed, she assembled buckets in her living room to gather water from leaks in the ceiling. "I heard a quick rush of wind and a big boom sound," she said. "I was too busy battling the leaks to notice the roof was gone."

I have been on Lily Cache Lane before. It's a fairly long street that goes from the eastside to the westside of Bolingbrook, so not sure where this exactly was.

If you pan South you'll see I55, and just Southeast of that is Joliet Road, which is nearby where I live. So the storm was going Southeast, if it would have stayed on the ground it would have come very, very close to where I live. So it was closer than I thought.

It is as if you are powered by long-life batteries. Long after the other devices have run out of energy, your wheels are still turning. It's not physical stamina that makes this possible, so much as mental staying power. You resign yourself to putting up with whatever you have to. You don't expect that to change much this week, but it will. Dramatically. Delightfully.

No I actually live a little north of Toronto now, but that is totally where I use to live. Its right beside a military base that my dad worked at. We lived in the evacuation zone. I still have friends and family there, but there all okay. Some didn't even hear it (although I don't know how), they didn't even know until I called them freaking out. Its not a particularly great neighborhood, not bad, but definitely on the lower end. Lots of poorer families and elderly. About 50 homes have been deemed uninhabitable, as they are finding asbestos and major structural damage. A Firefighter died, and one woman remains missing and thankfully only around 18 people were hurt, I don't think any seriously.

The holiday went really well. Some good moments, some bad moments, some scary moments and some embarassing moments overall it was great.

Just had a look at the Charlie Banks pics. Some good ones there. I can tell why you like the particular imagine. I also like it due to the fact it's a set pic, and i always love seeing stars being natural and not acting.
