I got a PM on IMDb from a girl who's watching the show for the first time. She just finished 1X09 and she's finding it very depressing, wondering if it's every gonna get better. She says she can only invest so much time in sadness. If she wants to be sad she can read the paper. I tried to reassure her as best I could.

Hi Ivy,
No worries. It's always fun to talk about this show. Just get to ep 12, Jump, and everything will start to look up. It's the first really important ep and the best of she series probably. JoA will always have its sadness here and there, but it also has it's great joys. And there's some really funny stuff on the way too. Stick with it.

Probably. But again if I didn't want to watch a dramatic TV show, I wouldn't watch a dramatic TV show. I hope she'll give it another chance, but if she doesn't then it'll probably make her sad again.

I just finished it and I cried through the second part of chapter 5. I love gappers and this one is spectacularly Adam-centric and just beautifully written and insightful. Just a great job. :applause:
