WTF is Sci-Fi doing? Now, the show's not on through October. It's still listed as part of their line-up, but it's not on for two months? I don't get it!

I would totally watch this but I usually go out on Friday nights . But i suppose online tv is just as good <3 I'm excited to start watching .

Online TV is not just as good if it's in a tiny window. You really need to see this on a good-sized screen, with no glitches, and with really good sound, especially in season 2 when you can appreciate Chris's deep, bassy voice. You'll want to see the nuances in the acting. It's too special not to watch in the best possible quality.

What Deb said. If you can, get the DVDs. And if you don't wanna spend the money going into the show cold, rent it at least. Even if the internet show is good quality and it's as big as your computer screen, you won't get everything out of it you should. The best way to experience this show is on a television.

OK, so I gave up on Sci-Fi and I've been mini-marathoning. I just watched Jump and even though I've seen it probably 20 times, I cried during that scene. I was inside the story (no FF), and I was watching Chris and Amber and Mary as always. Just soaking it all in. Wow. Never gets old. Never fails to touch me. God, I love this show. Onward...

Beginning February 5 at 7:00 a.m. Central Time, Sci Fi will begin airing the episodes beginning with "Death Be Not Whatever". I think that's where they left off before, so I guess they're burning off the rest of the episodes they've paid for the right to air. They'll do a marathon that day beginning with DBNW and going at least through "State of Grace". Warm up those DVR's if you want a set with the original music.

Looks like they will show the rest of the series in a marathon on June 18th. It is too bad they didn't stick to the Friday night airings. I really enjoyed that while it lasted.

I enjoyed the Friday night airings too. I have the DVDs, of course. That wasn't the point. It was fun watching it knowing that others were watching too. And the message boards at IMDb and Sci-Fi lit up.

I have DVDs too. I agree with Deb, part of the fun was a communal thing. We and alot of others were all watching it together. It was also fun to wait and think about them between veiwings. When I watch the DVDs I kind of plow through them. It was more like watching a regular show.

Yeah, DVDs really take away from the show because, like Rick said, you tend to just plow through them. It's actually nice to see them spread apart a bit. For instance, a few weeks ago I was watching Veronica Mars on DVD and by the time I got halfway through the final season, I had no idea what episode I was actually on or what was even happening because I had watched all three seasons in five days and never really absorbed anything.

I'm a fan of DVDs, but watching them weekly on TV is nice in its own rite.

Plus, original music. Which in most cases with JoA is prefereable to the lame-assed DVD replacement music.
