We're Going To LA!

We will tell you guys more about this over the next two weeks, but Anne, TeeJay and I are going to Los Angeles and it's got the potential to be amazing. We've been dying to share the news with you all, but we've had a lot of details to nail down before we could really talk about it.

Here's the basic thing in a nutshell...

Chris's mom, Tisha invited us to come out for the weekend of Chris's birthday. We were so surprised and delighted, we started working on finding a way to make it happen. We were initially even going to stay at her place, but her situation changed so we're doing a corporate rental at the apartments where she lives in beautiful Marina Del Rey. We hope to spend lots of time with Tisha and to get to meet Sean and Eric too. We have a lunch date with Chris.

As if that wasn't enough right there, we're going to see Michael Welch and Aaron Himelstein in their play, Speech & Debate. And we've arranged with Mike's Mom, Jill to meet with the guys after the play. Then, we're going to take Jill out for a treat for being such a sweetie. She got us all comp tickets too.

To top it all off, we're also going to San Francisco to see Amber Tamblyn perform her poetry at Litquake. No idea yet if we'll get to meet her.

We might even get to meet our message board friend, Rick (Editsound). True to his nickname, he works in the film and television industry. He's going to try to get us into a session for Bones. It'll be so cool to see what his part of the business is about. Even if we can't do that, we hope to at least take him out for lunch or something.

We have some other stuff we're working on too and we'll tell you more if it all pans out. Hopefully, we'll get all kinds of goodies for the site.

We'll have three cameras with us, and you know how good TeeJay is with one. We're hoping to bring back lots of pics, video and audio. From everyone.

girls, this sounds cool. i am a complete traveling freak so the trip alone sounds awesome. the meeting, the lunch date, the play , the poetry it's just a perfect package.

Yeah, we have this idea for an article for the site and there are a couple of puzzle pieces missing. We're going to work on that this weekend. Also, we had an offer a while back that we're going to follow up on for something that's so special I can barely believe it. If everything goes the way we hope, it's going to be absolutely fantastic. Part of this is about the three of us having fun, yes. But part of it is also about bringing back the goods for you guys. We should be able to post updates as the week progresses because we'll have Internet access.

I'm sure you'll get your chance someday, Laura. Look at me, I never thought I would meet Chris in person. I always wanted to get my TTC DVD signed and now it looks like this dream will soon come true.

Laura, if you wanted to send it to me to get signed, I could give you our FedEx number and you could send it to my office. When I get home, I'll send it back to you the same way. It's only a 2-day transit time. I think Chris would get a huge kick out of autographing Adam's airbrush pen for you. He dug signing Keith's leather wrist band for me.

I wish i could had been a forth on this adventure!
Works just been nuts.. and i finally got a full time job.
Recently had a client pass away.. in a very bad way so its been a bad month.
Sorry i didnt have time to do my part for his gift.
