Yeah, we drugged him, brought him home and got samples of his chest hair. Anyone got a DNA extractor?

We went up to San Francisco last night to see Amber Tamblyn live at Litquake (which was great). We just got back and we'll try to write up a little more for you later, including photos of us with Amber. Unfortunately we only got to talk to her for, like, 10 minutes, and it wasn't more than getting pics autographed and pictures taken, but it was still wonderful that we got to talk to her. Like I said, more later. (Sorry to keep you waiting!)

Hi guys, hope you're having a great weekend. We really wish we could tell you all about what's been going on with us, but we keep getting in so late that it's just impossible to keep a thought in our heads. But we'll fill you all in as soon as we can. What we can say is that we're having a blast, as exhausting as it has been --- especially for an old lady like me.

I'm trying to get TeeJay to post at least one Amber pic before we crash. Hang in there...

At the show last night, Amber's story was about being part of the 10th anniversary of The Vagina Monologues, even though she does NOT like the play at all. She thinks that there cannot be true feminism that denigrates men. She took part in the show reluctantly and told a hilarious story about how absolutely goofy she felt it was.

Here's a pic of her in it. It was held at the Superdome n New Orleans, which I just find weird as hell. There were tens of thousands of people there, which I can't believe...

Sorry I didn't get to post pics last night, I just couldn't keep my eyes open after being on the road all day. Here's pictures of Amber when we met with her after the Litquake opening show. There is a story behind the "wink" thing she's doing and we'll be telling it to you in more detail later, when we write up our story (or rather stories).

PS: Is that a tooth that she has as her earring?? It kinda looks like it. Ew!

We got in touch with her when we knew we were going to LA on the off-chance of being able to get together for an interview. She wrote back and told us she was going to be in the Frank Zappa musical "Joe's Garage" which was playing while we're here. We bought tickets immediately and Becky agreed to meet with us after the show. We're just so incredibly lucky to be able to meet with all these guys in the course of one week. It's really crazy when you think about it, isn't it?

Right now we're waiting for Chris to call so that we can go out for lunch later. He's gonna take us someplace nice (we hope!). Stay tuned.

Becky was WONDERFUL. She was so sweet and funny (and gorgeous), and we got to go hang out in the dressing room for our chat with her. Then we had our photos taken with her onstage. She gave us such a great interview. Can't wait for all you JoA fans to hear it.

Whoa! We just spent the most awesome three hours with Chris. He took all the time in the world with us, he was just really sweet and funny and unbelievably nice. It's hard to put in words. He gave us a really really REALLY in depth, long, most amazing interview, which of course we're gonna post on the website, once we've edited it for you. Of course we took a buttload of pictures, but we'll have to sort through them before we post. Chris literally only just left and we have to hit the road. More later (sorry).

I so agree with this one. Not that I would make a good feminist... Sometimes I like it a lot to have a man in charge of some stuff at home. Sometimes I'm so self-indulgent it embarrasing... :embarrassed: I'm like a cat. I so want to be free to come and go as I wish but I still love it when there's a place where to come home to and someone that wants to take care of me... But I also have this huge urge to take care of others so I really do pay back.

Okay, guys, here's the sweet, juicy highlight of our wonderful trip for y'all to see.

Look at Chris in that last picture. It's like he's saying: "These are my homies!"

And as you can see, he was totally blown away by all the presents we gave him, and he loved, loved, LOVED the birthday card. He was so humbled by all the personal stuff we gave him. So to everyone who participated, you should have seen the look on his face, he studied every picture in detail, made sure to read everyone's little personal message with every photo. I can assure you that he really appreciated it, and he said he was gonna put it up in his apartment.

And in case you're wondering where we are, these pics were taken in the apartment that we rented for our stay. So, yup, we had Chris there to ourselves with no interruptions. Though for some reason he didn't want anything to drink from our fridge. Maybe he thought we'd drug him?
