It was a good soundtrack. Amazon has a deleted scene up on their site. Cute!
http://www.amazon.com/Juno-Two-Disc-Spe … 032&sr=1-6
Right underneath the info about the movie, it says "Watch A Related Video".
Juno does a little song/performance piece about her situation:
"I made dubdub With my best guy friend
And now I'm knocked up to no e-end.
He filled me with baby factor
Then we ate some orange Tic Tacs after.
Don't know what to do or what to say
I'm gonna miss the winter dance, but that's okay.
He obviously wouldn't wanna go with me, anyway!
Cuz he's obviously a little angry!"
What do you think of the venue? I think it's kind of a cross between Central Perk and the Unurban (or was it Cafe Ennui?;) ) And I think it's a bowling alley.:P I'm REALLY looking forward to this DVD. Can you tell?

I might have to rent both versions to see if the extra features on the 2 disk edition are worth the extra seven bucks. They seem interesting

Out of all of the movies I've seen for the 1st time this year, Juno is definitely my #1 fave! Ellen and Michael are amazing in it!!!

It was my favorite movie of 2007, hands down. Lars came in second.

I saw this movie too. It was good. Well-acted. I think it was the first time I saw Michael Cera and Ellen Page. Absolutely loved Jennifer Garner in it. Great plotline. It made me shed a little tears too. I'm such a crybaby now days! :embarrassed:

Don't worry, I cry in movies all the time too. I sure cried in Juno and I'll probably even cry in Fanboys. Oops. LOL :embarrassed:

It's the best movie I've seen in theaters this year. = )

Hey, has anyone read that Stripper- book by Diablo? I only just now read the interview at the first page of this thread and had to look it up. Maybe I'll order it after I get all of the Twilight read.
I looked for some thread about Ellen Page or American Crime. Either I'm going blind from too much reading or there isn't an American Crime thread? I'll bet it's just because of my eyes! Anyways, I finally watched the movie and it was... heavy might be the word. Still pretty darn good movie. Shocking. Makes me think of everything. Unbelieveable that it really happened...I had some rough times growing up but nothing in compared to poor Sylvia.
Seeing this makes me wanna see more of Ellen Page to compare so maybe I'll be watching Juno again.
Here's an inappropriate final lightening..and has absolutely nothing to do with Juno or Ellen or anything but here it is anyway. Just that comment I just made. "it was... heavy" .. It made me smile a little but not because I'm a raving sosiopath or something. It just brought me a flashback from the movie Back to the future. Anyone else remember that? Marty keeps saying "heavy" and then Doc comments something on it like "There's that word again. Is there something wrong with the Earth's gravitional pull in the future" or something like that. That's what made me smile...

There's no separate thread for it. We talked about it in the thread about Chris's co-stars when we were discussing Michael Welch. I haven't read Diablo's book, so I can't say anything about it.
Ellen was great in both Juno and An American Crime. She sure is a talented and skilled actress.
I've only seen Back to the Future once. In German, when I was still a kid. And I don't remember much about it, much less any quotes from it.

There's no thread for An American Crime because the movie was so disturbing I really have no desire to see it again or really to talk about it and put those images back in my head. It took me a couple of weeks to get over it after I saw it. I just don't want to think about it anymore.
Maria, you have to see Hard Candy. Ellen is phenomenal in that one.
And I know exactly what you mean about BTTF and that thing about "heavy". It was so cute!
