Re: Prison Break

The weird thing is that I think it's not just Nokia phones. Not that I can be sure, but some looked like Motorola. Also, Roland uses a MacBook Pro, but I've also seen PCs on the show. Which I find kinda refreshing because the product placement is not so in-your-face than on other shows. If they're trying to place any products, that is.

Who else thinks that Sara looked hot in the green top? I think Michael did, maybe Wentworth too. tongue

Re: Prison Break

Spoiler avoiders, cover your eyes!!! Select the text below with your mouse to see it. Contains spoilers. Or possible spoilers.

Former Prison Break star Paul Adelstein believes that his character Paul Kellerman may still return to the show despite his apparent demise.

Kellerman was believed to have been killed at the end of the second season when the police van he was travelling in was hijacked by unknown masked men and shots were fired.

However, the death was not shown on screen and Adelstein told TV Guide that he thinks the character was spared: "I am definitely of that mind, [and] there have been no indications that he is not dead."

"It was a fun piece of writing, because it could play either way. I'm either being rescued... or I'm being deep-sixed," the actor added.

If Kellerman was to return, it would not be the first example of a character on Prison Break returning from an apparent death. Dr Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) recently returned to the show despite the character's supposed beheading during the third season.

I'm not sure whether to squeeeee or groan. wink

And.... YAY! New episode tonight!

Yes, of course. If it's either one or the other, I want him on PP rather than PB!

Re: Prison Break

Loved watching one of tonight's developments unfold, hated the other major one.  And I only saw a quarter of his face, but I guessed right that Keith Szarabajka, one of my favorite character actors and an Angel vet, is going to be the mysterious David Baker in next week's ep.

Re: Prison Break

What's the one and what's the other? I'm guessing the one you hated was the one that had to do with the water pipe? And the other one had to do with Mahone, I guess.

Re: Prison Break

Assuming that you've seen it, I can say it out loud now.  I hate that they killed off Bellick, even though he died a hero.  But I looooooved watching Alex torture and then dispose of Wyatt (though I'm betting he's not dead).  The creepiest thing I've seen on TV this year was The General macking on Gretchen.  Eeeewwwwwwww!!!  God, I hope she's gonna squash him like a bug before it's all over with.

So what did you think?

Re: Prison Break

Yeah, I had the same reaction about Gretchen and the General. Ew indeed. But I'm not convinced she's really back with the Company. Maybe she's just spying on where they bring the last card. And then it's every (wo)man for himself.

I didn't like that they killed Bellick either, but I have to admit that he's the "good guy" I'm gonna miss the least. Guess they just didn't know what to do with his character anymore. I pray we don't lose anyone else until the end of the season (and longer).

Mahone torturing Wyatt was intense. Whoa. I'm not a very sensitive person when it comes to gore and agony on TV, but I flinched and looked away at the needle thing. Ouch.

I'm mostly dreading the Michael brain tumor thing. It's gonna be totally cliché, and if it really is, I'm gonna hate it.

Re: Prison Break

I think Gretchen is serious about bringing down the Company.  And I'm pretty sure that if she does, the General is going get his comuppance too.

Normally, I can tolerate torture or anything like it.  But Wyatt deserved every ounce of what he got and then some.  I'm so glad Alex got to get his pound of flesh.  And when he just uncerimoniuosly pushed Wyatt off the dock in mid-sentence, I cheered.  That was great!  A bit like in Indiana Jones when the guy is doing all that fancy swordplay and Indy just shoots him dead.

Re: Prison Break

It looks like the show will run through Nov and Dec ending with a season finale at ep 16 on Dec 22 and then come back some time in 2009.

O-kay. This doesn't have anything to do with PB, but have I mentioned that I have to work this Christmas? Well, not on Christmas, but all the days around and between the bank holidays. At least it'll be quiet in the office. I'll be the only one there from our team.

New ep tonight! :dancing:

Re: Prison Break

Gah! They were as predictable as I thought. How boring. I'm talking about this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypothalamic_hamartoma Well, at least we didn't have to wait until the end of the season for Michael to collapse and go to the hospital. And it wasn't nearly as dramatic as I had pegged it to be. But, hey, the season's not over, right? He can always not make it to the hospital for the surgery and then...

I loved how they made this kind of a Bellick rememberance ep in the middle of all the craziness. It was kinda creepy to see T-Bag mourning him, though. Somehow that didn't feel right.

Re: Prison Break

I have to say I'm not entirely surprised. I'd totally enjoy a 5th season, but they'd have to come up with a damn good storyline to keep it at a high quality level and keep viewers interested. I think we all know that they're not gonna get away with a third prison break. wink I do enjoy season 4 immensely, though. And it would definitely suck if we had to give up on the show after 4 seasons.

Because of other stuff going on or because the episode didn't capture your attention?

I thought it had a lot of great moments. I didn't much care for the part where they broke into the Scylla security room, but I loved all the interpersonal stuff, especially the scene between Michael and Mahone. And I've seen the preview for next week too. Yep, insane indeed!

Re: Prison Break

I don't know.  I guess I just wasn't in the right mood or something.  I kept finding my attention drifting to the computer.  Hell, about the only thing I actually watched last night was the one new ep of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.  Maybe I can get it from you this weekend and try again to watch it without commercials --- on the computer.  Maybe that will help.

Deb, did you know that the fans are calling Michael's blue shirt the "shirt o'doom"? lol How long has he been wearing it now without changing??

I don't know. It's kinda strange because with Prison Break I don't really mind being spoiled that much. I'm still a spoiler avoider for pretty much everything else, though. I have a convoluted brain. There's no sense trying to make sense of it. tongue
