Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Yeah, and back then I was SO jealous and I thought I'd never meet him. If someone told me that I was going to meet him two years later I would have called him an idiot because something like that NEVER happens to me. Turned out I was wrong. big_smile

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

You know, on Saturday I had one of those moments again. I was reorganizing things in my apartment and when I turned my eyes fell on all the autographs hanging on the wall next to my dining area and I couldn't help but staring at them in awe. Sometimes I still can't believe that all that really happened. My friends don't really care about all that stuff because they don't really know the people we met, but to me it was like my biggest dream came true and noone is going to take that away from me EVER.

Same here.  I put all my autos from the LA trip on my bulletin board at work.  No one cares, but they keep me company.  big_smile

I wish I could use that pic of me with Chris after he signed my TTC DVD as background on my computer at work, but I am not allowed to put up private stuff. sad

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

We aren't supposed to, but I do anyway.  Other people have like lanscape pictures as their desktop.  I see no difference.  I've had Chris wallies up for a long time.  Dale has seen them and never said a word.  I think everyone around here has learned not to mess with me where Chris is concerned.  wink

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Then you're lucky. When I returned to work after our trip, boss asked me if I went to Toronto (since I had to tell him why I couldn't move my vacation), and then I told him no, we went to LA instead and then I explained a little about the show and the people we met, but of course he didn't know them. He said: "I only know Brad Pitt." and then I was about to ask "In person?" but I didn't. I said: "Well, we didn't meet him." LOL
I thought about asking him if I could put up one of my pictures as background, but then I decided not to. I didn't want him to see my private life. But then again, he also has pics of his children on his computer.
And my family still makes fun of me because I'm such a big Chris fan. But I don't care. They just don't get it.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Dawn, just click on the button above the reply box that says "Img" and paste the address of the image between the bracketed  that will appear.  That should do it.

Ah, it's only temporary.  I'm just obsessed with Joe's Garage right now and playing around.

To be honest, it's kinda freaking me out because I keep seeing that weird, black thing hanging from the ceiling with a lit Starbucks cup for a nose. LOL tongue

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

One of my Google alerts came back with a link to a German forum where they discuss dubbing voices. They have a page for Chris too. Now, look at the list of different people who've dubbed him!

Movies:
2007    The Invisible - Clemens Ostermann
2005    Alpha Dog - Marius Götze-Clarén
2005    Just Friends - Johannes Wolko
2004    The Girl Next Door - Ozan Ünal
2003    Freddy vs. Jason - Hannes Maurer
2000    Up, Up and Away! - Hannes Maurer
1998    Noah - Oliver Cresswell
1996    Sweet Nothing - Nico Sablik

TV Shows:
2003-5 Joan of Arcadia - Ozan Ünal
2003    The Mummy, The Animated Series - Hannes Maurer
2002    Boston Public - Timm Neu
2001    Pasadena - Hannes Maurer
2000-5 Strong Medicine - Nico Sablik
2000    ER - Nico Sablik

source: http://215072.homepagemodules.de/t51034 … uette.html

I count eight different people. Now can you understand why I hate the dubbing?

That's interesting. What's Superboy Scott and Sweet Nothing though?

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I have never heard of Superboy Scott. Might be a German title for something named differently in English. Sweet Nothing is a movie Chris did when he was young. I have never seen it.
