i like that movie that is about a rich boy he,s name is charlie bartlett and all movie is about him of coz. lol and he is always going in trouble and always fired. and anton yelchin, he acted in alpha dog and huff as chris marquette just acted in 3 shows of it but they acted together.

i like this film charlie bartlett. watch it i can count on that you all will like that film

We've talked about the movie a little bit in other threads, and I agree with you. I loved it too. And I loved Anton in it. I can't quite remember now if I watched it in the theater or on DVD, but I think it was in the theater. I'd love to have this one on DVD some time too.

Don't know how accurate this date is, but according to this site it comes out in Region 2 on 2/23/09

Yeah it is that date. Just look at play.com and they have the same date listed.

I've been naughty. :embarrassed: I've already seen it three times. Loved it. Love Anton, Love Robert. Good storyline and all. I'll order the DVD from play.com too. Anton is one of those actors that tie you infront of the screen. Even if you just plan to watch just one good scene of one of his movies, you end up watching the whole thing because once he gets a hold of your attention, you want more and more and can't get enough. Captivating. Makes your heartbeat irrational, makes you hold your breath at times. And the sexy voice helps!

And Chris is amongst this small group of actors. A real talent.

yes anton is adorable. yupp and he is talented actor also is chris and sean and eric , eric why is,nt he acting anymore. ??. yes charlie bartlett is a good movie i dont own her but i took here and watch her and turn her back after i was finished watching her. but i will defenitely buy her then i have a time and enough money.

From things both Chris and his mom have said, Eric isn't acting anymore because he hates to chase projects and audition and all that. Tisha said he'd love to work if the jobs would just fall into his lap. And from our last interview with Chris, I got the same vibe. He just lacks the motivation. But let's face it, even if he suddenly decided to go back, now wouldn't be the time to do it. There are just so few jobs these days as they worry about the possibility of an actor's strike. Maybe one day he'll decide to try again.

Basically, the strike is just about normal cost-of-living increases in wages and benefits. Of course the studios don't want to pay anyone anymore than they have to, but the fact is, everyone needs a salalry bump every few years just to keep their head above water. It's not about making rich actors richer, it's about making it so that unknowns can still make a decent living. The main sticking point is "new media". Artists want compensation for their material as it airs over the Internet. The studios don't want to pay them for that until they figure out how to regulate it. The actor's union, SAG refuses to accept the same deal the writer's union, WGA made with the producer's group, the AMPTP. Until someone bends, nothing gets resolved. They're going to vote this month about striking. All SAG needs is for 75% of the actors to agree to strike and it's on. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it does not happen.

I've read where the studios are laying off lots of people due to the economy.

On a side note, there are rumors that the Tribune Co. (which own the Cubs & WGN) may file for Bankruptcy very soon.
