ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the most part.  It was only saved by the Cali trip and the election results, really.

Me, too!  That election was the one great big bright spot in the year for me.

Happy 2009, Laura!  And everybody else, too!

Re: New Years 2009

We've already celebrated in the Eastern & Central time zones, but before I crash, I wanted to wish a big Happy New Year to our friends on the west coast!!!  Special shout out to Rick for helping to make our Cali trip so great.  And best wishes to Chris and all our favorite entertainers as well.  Here's to a wonderful '09 for everyone.  :dancing:

Same here.
Sorry that I am late. I watched a lot of movies last night. Not Chris-movies, but Chris-related movies (the Witch Mountain ones) and earlier today I watched Graduation and now American Gun is on. And after that I'm going to have a little JoA fix. I decided I need it.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! :dancing:

Re: New Years 2009

Belated Happy New Year from me too! We had a really great time in the youth hostel where I partied with a bunch of friends (and some people I didn't know yet). Probably one of the best New Year's Eves I've had in a while. Downside is, I'm really tired. I went to bed at 3:30 and got woken by my roommate at 6 AM when she went to bed. I went back to sleep after that, but it wasn't very restful. I'm getting too old for this. tongue

Another downside is that I gotta work tomorrow. I just hope it's gonna be really quiet, but I was hoping for that too on Monday and Tuesday, and that didn't quite work out.

Am I glad to see 2008 gone? Not particularly. It was a pretty exciting year for me personally. I went to see so many far away places that year, and the LA trip was definitely the highlight of my year. Of the past few years, even. If 2009 is equally good or better, I'll be happy.
