Re: Randomness

What's Rock Band like. I got a Wii for Christmas and only have a few games at the moment. Hooked on Mario Kart Wii.

Rock Band is the most fun you can have with your clothes on, Simon.  I definitely recommend it!

Re: Randomness

I haven't heard about Rock band either. We have a Wii. So is there anything bad about this game or is it all just positive? What's it about?

Re: Randomness

The only real physical game i've played on the wii is the wii sports which really tires me out. The other games just involves my hands moving.

Re: Randomness

Me on wii fit would be a site to see. Rock band sounds fun. I do have a lot of fun on Singstar, so i should find Rock Band fun, but isn't it quite costly?

Re: Randomness

My friend got a good deal on Rock Band for Wii.  She got the game, drums, mic & guitar for $100.  It was an after Christmas close-out sale, I think.

Re: Randomness

Cappu needs coffee... wink Just sat down with a nice, steamy cup of Cafe au Chocolatte. tongue Yummy. I got up 2,5 hours ago and just got around to make some coffee.. I'm weirdly tired. I know I only slept about 5-6 hours, but it was so tight I can't believe I'm this tired. I'll bet it was the 2 hour walk last night that made it so tight. Gonna do it again tonight. big_smile I just wrote a long blogpost about it on MySpace and then it got lost; because just as I was about to post it, MySpace said that I wasn't logged in. Great. Um.. I refuse to get annoyed...

What's everyone been up to lately? smile
I needed a Chris-doze, so I watched Graduation again the other night. It just keeps getting better and better! big_smile

Re: Randomness

Had a horrible evening. Soo tired from work and got my brother really starting to annoy me. Always answering back, and i don't know if it's just me being selfish, but his 4 phone calls a day to the same person is really beginning to annoy me. I hate being depressed, cause it really makes me hate how i am. neutral

Re: Randomness

I am so happy. I went to Stuttgart today to do some birthday shopping and favorite bookstore still had the calender I spotted there last year, but couldn't buy because it was too expensive. Now they were still selling it with 50% off. YAY! Now I have the best food photography calender I've ever seen hanging in my kitchen. Yay!  :dancing:

Re: Randomness

No, I didn't. It's still not playing at the Corso theatre. Didn't I tell you? They're showing the Valkyrie movie instead ... which is a slap into my face if you ask me ... roll
I hope Twilight will still come to the Corso soon. I really want to see it.

Re: Randomness

I'm sorry you haven't been able to see Twilight yet, Anne.

I really want to see the movie Milk but I live in a really small town. My local theater advertised for it a few months ago and it still never played. It really annoys me.

Re: Randomness

Talking of Twilight and birthdays. I could have seen it on mine! It was playing 16.-22. on our theater. Of course it was advertised on their webpage only on those two weeks when I gave up checking so often.. And found out about the movie just as the last showing yesterday had ended. I hope they give it another week. And this all reminds me that I should read the papers more...We've got three free local papers that I never read...

Sorry your luck wasn't any better, Anne. *hugsie*

Simon, sorry you're so depressed. I feel a lot of that too.. Depression annoyes me like nothing else. When it gets really bad it feels like it's draining me of all my streght and feeling so weak and useless IS annoying and makes me hate myself.. So sick and tired of always being sick and tired..

Re: Randomness

This is a weird story!

http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=903780

What do you guys think?  Should the winners apologize to the losers and forfeit the game?  I'm not sure I like the message that sends.  I think if you lose, you lose.  No matter how embarrassing it is.

Re: Randomness

I don't think they should forfeit.  But the winning coach should be gone.  There is no excuse for running up the score like that.  Press defense and shooting 3 pointers into the 4th quarter?  that is not acceptable.  School athletics are supposed to be a learning thing.  And this coach taught the girls that when you are faced with somone who is weaker, you should grind them into the ground and stomp on them.  Give me a break.  (sorry but I have 2 kids currently in school athletics and I have watched them win and lose, and thank God they have done it all with class)
