It's just that I would always like to assume that this isn't a private board and respect anyone who may come here and hasn't seen it. At any rate...

The issue was over whether or not a mother would throw a baby out of a car window. The person who felt this was unrealistic (to the point of tears) had lost a little brother in childbirth. He remembered how utterly heartbroken his mother was at the time and witnessed firsthand the bond between a mother and a newborn. He watched the behavior of the character in the movie and said that, based on his own experiences, no mother would ever do such a thing. He simply didn't believe it.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Yeah, and no mother would flush a baby down the toilet, or throw one in a dumpster, or bury it.  Nope, never.  Except it happens constantly and that's why many places have instituted the Safe Haven Law.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I already posted this in the Misc thread, but I think it's worth a re-post:
Amber's new show, The Unusuals, will premiere on Wednesday, April 8 at 10:00 PM on ABC. Her character's name is Detective Casey Shraeger.

So it's not a mid-season replacement anymore, ABC pushed it back for whatever reason. Does this mean it'll run through the summer? Or is this like a 6-episode deal and then see how well it does before they continue?

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I started listening to Carl Hiaasen's "Flush" as audio book today. It's read by Michael Welch, and I already love it. (Thanks again, Anne!) Michael's a great reader, really takes you with him into the story. I haven't read the actual book, and I guess I won't need to since the audio book is unabridged. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the story.

Looky here.  I found Fon Joster.  lol

Wasn't even looking.  I went to Luke Eberl's MySpace to message him about how much I loved Choose Connor and bumped into Chris's best friend, Jon.  big_smile

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Yeah, the audio book is great. I haven't listened to the whole book yet, but will finish that soon. I am glad that you like it, Tina. I originally planned to send you a better one (I don't know if you noticed that the package of the CDs is a little damaged), but the other copy I ordered via amazon had to be shipped from the US and it arrived too late. Sorry.
Oh, and Maria, your package is waiting to be shipped out at my apartment. I'll send it to you as soon as I am home again, but currently I have to stay with my parents because I still need to go to the hospital. But I did not forget you. wink

Here are two pics I found on amtam.com. She, as always, looks incredibly stunning. You can zoom in on the second pic to read the beginning of the article. The board said you could go to bust.com to read the rest, but when I went there and found the article, the pics were too small to read the rest of it. Bummer. I wish I could get a copy of the magazine somehow. But well, the only place I know that sells international magazines is at the Stuttgart main trainstation and since I am certified sick, I can't go there now. sad

Funny part is it's a men's magazine.  It'd be hilarious if I bought up all the copies.  lol

Oh yeah. LOL But well, it's okay. I know these things are out of my reach. I mean, I can't have shipped every magazine Amber appears in to Germany just because of her.

File this under Rumor

The Hollywood Hottie Meter is kicking into overdrive in the wake of rumors that hunky heartthrobs Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron, and Justin Timberlake are each being courted for major roles in Ohio, an upcoming film based on the 1970 murders of anti-Vietnam War protesters at Kent State University.
