Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

As far as I know Superboy Scott is the German title for Up, up and away. Now I don't know if I am wrong here or if their list doesn't make sense because they list that movie twice with different voices and years. Or maybe there's a sequel and the people from that website don't know that he wasn't in it? I have no clue.
Also I noticed that every now and then new things he seemed to have done as a kid pop up at his imdb page. Happened just recently with some "Sing-Along" thingies (I don't really get what that's supposed to be, I guess some kind of workshop how to learn to sing songs from  musicals for kids or something like that) or that Ed Ripple thing that never aired on TV.

But yeah, eight different people, that's the same reason I hate dubbing.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

You're right, Anne. Superboy Scott is the German title for Up, Up and Away. I mixed it up with Noah, which I listed as Up, Up and Away. Let me go and correct that.

We also seem to have conflicting information because some sites say the dubbing voice for JoA was Ozan Ünal, another site says it was Tommy Morgenstern. I'm pretty sure it was Ozan Ünal, there's only this one article on some fansite that says Tommy Morgenstern did Adam, all other sites about dubbing voices list Mr. Ünal for JoA. Not that it matters much to me anyway.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I didn't even notice Noah was missing. LOL I was just confused because Up up and away was listed twice.

Yeah, I've heard about the Ozan Ünal/Tommy Morgenstern thing too, but based on my own experience with the dubbing of both JoA and Lost I'd say I'm pretty sure that Ozan Ünal was on JoA too. He was the guy who dubbed Boone on Lost and it was the same voice, at least in my ears.
But why do we care anyway? We don't watch dubbed versions. wink

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Tommy Morgenstern dubbed Charlie on Lost, and apparently he didn't do a very good job of it (from what I read online). I suppose it would be easy to go back to an old Lost episode and compare the voices, but I don't have any Lost episodes in German.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I do have two episodes of Lost in German. I can copy them for you if you want, but like I said, I am pretty sure that it was Ozan Ünal on JoA, too.
And I am also pretty sure that I have information this page is missing. LOL I've read the name of the kid who dubbed him on TTC. It's either on some other website that lists dubbing voices or it's even written on the back of the DVD. I don't know it by heart but I'll have a look at it when I come home tonight.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

LOL Yeah, me neither. I don't watch them anymore.
Oh, and I just remembered something: Ozan Ünal also dubbed that whimp guy from Men In Trees. Just some useless trivia for you. LOL
And somehow I can't find the website I found the dubbing voices of TTC, but then I noticed that I already posted it in the German section long time ago. (Not that anyone cared ...)

I didn't know that. They need to put it on IMDB. I wish it was released on DVD. I want to see it.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I'm not normally the kind of person who would say this, but i was just watching A.I. Artifical Intelligence, and there were some scenes (only some) where, in my opinion, there were similarities in facial features between Haley Joel Osment and a young Chris.

Now, i'll stand here and let you tear me apart. tongue

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Hey, I kinda get it. Not that I've seen A.I. recently, but I understand the part where people say they see similarities in certain features or stances. I've had that with Chris and an actor who shall remain nameless. It's not the same as saying "Chris looks like bla bla bla". You have my blessing, Simon. smile

Thank You. *Bows down*

It was only a few scenes i did notice it in. First time, was when he was sitting at the table in the house, just the way his face looked was the same face i've seen on young Chris pics.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Actually, I've always thought that, just never said it.  They have similar chins and often make similar expressions with their mouths.  I have no problem with that since I've been a big HJO fan for like a decade.  As long as no one starts posting CHRISTOPHER MARQUETTE = HALEY JOEL OSMENT, we're cool.  Those are the kinds of posts that piss me off.  Not someone saying he has similar features to this person or that person.  Unless, you know, that person happens to be a fugly punk-ass ingrate.

Similarly, it pisses me off when people say Emile Hirsch looks like Jack Black.  Jack Black freakin' WISHES he was a cute as Emile.  LOL!

Mike Welch has recently been compared to Benjamin McKenzie from The O.C. Uhm... no, sorry, can't really see it. Except maybe the blue eyes and blond hair (I almost wrote blue hair and blond eyes, LOL).

Yeah, it's always completely superficial on IMDb.  I often wonder if people can actually SEE.  Drives me bananas.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I just saw a trailer for the remake of The Last House On The Left and Spencer Treat Clark is playing a character named Justin in it that will make you swear he's basing it on Adam.  He's got the soft, shy and sweet thing going, and the long, wavy hair and the hoodie.  Sigh.  Tony Goldwyn's in it too.  Almost makes me wanna see it.

STC sure did turn out cute...  http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3469054976/nm0004829

Okay, there are definitely very strange people out there. Someone asked on Chris's IMDb board if anyone has pictures of his feet. Uh..... WHY???

I see loads of threads on IMDb about feet. I'm sure it must be the same person. They must have a fetish for feet.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

We do, actually. And I get it. One of the things I love about Little Laminated Linus is that you can see his bare feet.  It's not that weird.  We actually probably have more pics in the Abbey Road stuff where you can see his bare feet, of course.  I'm pretty busy this weekend, this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon, but I plan to look through all the Fanboys pics at some point.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

This person also posted the same question for another actor, can't remember his name. Not someone I knew. So he seems to have a thing with feet. If you feel like answering his post, feel free. I was a little too weirded out about it.

There's also one or two pics of Chris and Margo at the Angel/Smallville season premiere, and he's only wearing flip flops:

AngelSmallvillePremiere_07.jpg

I just realized, I have a jacket kinda like the one Chris wears, only it's dark gray. smile

I answered it.  Long toes are sexy.  I happen to like Chris's feet and I don't think that's weird.  Not any weirder than liking his hands, lips, hair, chest, booty, eyes, teeth, eyebrows.  I love all these things.  smile

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Well, this guy/girl obviously likes all sorts of feet, he asked the same question for another actor. I don't know, I just think it's kinda creepy to want to see pictures of the naked feet of celebrities. Though it's probably totally harmless in this case.

Chris's IMDb board has been purged.  There's only 3 threads left!  WTF???  I don't really mind all that much since there was so much garbage on there.  It's just weird.
