Re: Randomness

If you're into artsy-fartsy stuff, you might like the pictures I took on Sunday when I went to the Neanderthal museum with my good friend Ralf:
http://teejay.bplaced.net/gallery/thumb … p?album=43 (site is really slow sometimes)

To be fair, I'm not a photographic genius. All these pics were manipulated with PhotoPaint and didn't come out of the camera that way. smile

And if you right click it and select properties, you can link that specific post.  I'd be lost without the ability to do that.

Re: Randomness

I just don't undertand myself anymore. I feel so pointless as a human being just sitting around doing nothing that i'm enjoying time at work more than at home. Perhaps it's just that time of the month for me. I often get these odd depressing moments.

Re: Randomness

Don't we all get those moments? I certainly know them. It helps if you can find something to immerse yourself in that's not work. What usually does the trick for me is doing something creative, like image editing or even doing something with paper. The other day I made a birthday card with a pink paper rose from scratch for my grandmother. At other times I write fan fiction. Have you ever tried writing, Simon?

Re: Randomness

I have been thinking of just writing a script for fun. I've been intrested in films all my life and my dream all my life has been to act. Unfortunately it's something that problems stop me from doing. I do however have ideas which i sometimes imagine as a film. I even imagine which actors would be featured in them. Naturally i'm in them. I actually have pretty limited interests in life.

Re: Randomness

I've never really got interested that much in anything else. There's other things i like, but my main interests is just films and everything that goes into it. Like i said my dream would be to act, but i admit i have enjoyed editing videos together and thinking up ideas.

I always want to improve my photographic "talent" (that is not there ...), but I just don't have time at the moment and around here is absolutely NOTHING interesting to photograph ...:(

Re: Randomness

I'm doing a little test.

Right now it's 12:56 PM.

I'm seeing if the time mark for the posting is off or not.

I have it set for -6 CST on my profile.

EDIT: OK it's off.

I have it set for CST. Is there anyway to fix this?

Re: Randomness

You might need to change it to -5.  I'm normally on -5 and had to change it to -4 because of DSL.

I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that you guys changed to daylight saving the weekend before last. We change on March 28. I think the forum timestamps will be back to normal after March 28. Right now the time difference between me and EST is 5 hours. Usually it's 6.

Re: Randomness

Hi guys. It might seem like an odd request but i want some help. I'm currently writing a story as a screenplay based on an idea i've had in my head for ages. I'm just wondering on names for characters and thought maybe you guys might know some good names.

I need 2 names which could be seen as similar but are not really similar (if you understand that. lol) They are for 2 brothers. 1 is from England whilst the other is from America.

I am also trying to think of names for a young student who is obsessed with religion and a bully, who is a fighter but has a huge careing side to him.

I'm not requesting this to be answered. It's just if anyone has any ideas.

Re: Randomness

Hey, Simon. big_smile Um.. I had many names coming to my mind, but they were too m uch alike, I think.. Like.. Darren and Darryll.. Gil and Will.. Chaz and Chad.. Um.. Maybe I'm just too tired.. lol Or maybe I'm just hogging all the good names for my own stories... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAA (Dr. Evil laughter)

I hope you guys don't mind my new sig... it's my eye. My eyes are the only thing beautiful in me so I like to show them of! wink Um... That one just turned out so good.. Kinda Twilightish....?? I made it as an Avi for TwiLex but I wanted to show it for you guys too... Now I feel like I'm begging for attention and feel ashamed of myself.. I'm sure, I'll regret soon and use another Chris-sig instead. big_smile

Re: Randomness

A few days ago I got in 2 coupons from Shell gasoline for $2.00 off an 8 gallon fill-up.

So I put almost 9 gallons in and got $2 off. Plus I paid in cash and got 18 cents off for doing that instead of using credit card.

I've been putting off adding newly purchased dvds in order in my collection. I did about 3/4's of it today. I got through Spider-man 1 and need to do about 2 small bookcases worth this weekend. I probably need to start getting rid of some duplicates or those I hardly watch to make room.
