Re: Randomness

My stupid act of the day: My brother left the back door open today and a fly got in.  I went to go kill it with the fly swatter... when I swung, I lost my balance, fell over and jammed my finger when I tried to catch myself.  And the fly got away.

Ironically, I was just talking to one of my friends about stupid ways to get injured

Re: Randomness

Oh Laura. Sorry about your finger. Ironic things like that tend to happen... Like my poor daughter tripping on some stupid thing just when I was trying to remember the last time she ever had an accident of any kind. poor thing, fell on her stomach full force. sad

Oh damnit. I think there's something wrong with the water in our suburb, or maybe the whole town. hasn't been before, but that would certainly explain why my tummy's been sick yesterday and today even if the Nexium is already workign right. Yesterday my daughter told a little story about her schoolday: "There was brown water coming from the falcets at school today. One boy in my class drank it anyway. Then he went on the yard to puke". I'll bet it was that one kid that wants to amaze everyone with his coolness and bravery! lol poor lil bastard.. I could swear the water on our falcets has kinda yellow tint in it when I let it run, but when I put it in a class, it looks normal. I'm not sure if it tastes normal. I don't think I'll be drinking it anymore...

Something's making me annoyingly tired this week. I know there was a few nights I had trouble falling asleep but that was days ago. Doesn't explain why I'm more tired than before today, when I slept a ful 7 hours last night and took naps right after waking up and making kids breakfast ready. I feel so drained it's making me nuts. I was finally feeling better thanks to the Nexium kicking in and then this...  Ugh! I didn't come here to whine.. Sorry... :embarrassed:

You do in America.  They'd make her get a make-over before they'd even consider putting her on TV here.

Yeah, and in Germany they'll tell you to do that, too. And you have to endure a lot of stupid comments because you look like you look.

There's a lot of people that judge other's on their appearance everywhere in the world. It's sad but I'm glad I'm not like that.

Re: Randomness

I finally ordered new glasses today. The whole package (including the new frames I picked) will cost me 403.39 $ (307.50 €). roll
Oh, well. But at least I'll get the Ferrari among the glasses. They'll be thinner than normal glasses, they'll have antireflection coating and an anti scratch layer. (If you call that stuff like that in English. I have no idea about that, sorry.)

OK, Iron Crotch Kung Fu is the most insane thing I've ever seen!  This guy's going to pull a plane with his... you know.   He already pulled a car with it.  The show is National Geographic's Inside Kung Fu Secrets.  I need a nap now.  yikes

Re: Randomness

I agree. It should be in the other thread. It could easily evolve into other discussions.

On a side note, i am really stuck with my future now. I've got a meeting to organise this week with the boss, but apparently they don't want me as an IT technician next year. They do want me as an IT support for teachers, meaning i will be stuck in classrooms. This isn't really something i want to do with my life, but saying that i don't know what i want to do.

Re: Randomness

I've heard of some guys that pull trucks and stuff with their winwang () or with some piercings in their skin... Ewww.. Who would want to see that???

I've got a mean cold. My nose is totally stuck today and I can't stop caughing. I don't remember having it this bad ever before but who ever does.. Atleast I don't have a fever! Well, I never get a fever.. This all makes me very tired. Which sucks since this house should look somewhat presentable 3 hours from now when a chimney sweeper comes to visit. I don't mean I'll wipe the floors and all before he comes. That'd be stupid. But there's cerial on the floor and toys everywhere.. The usual! Gawd, these kids can make a mess! I don't understand how I can still be all smiley-googeley with all this. Must be high on spring or something! I'm always happy in springtime big_smile Does help that GERD's been silent for couple of days. PCOS kinda nice too. Does this sound funny to you: Coughing hurts my overies! ? I know hurting isn't funny but something about that just makes me giggle. I dunno.. Maybe I drank too much flumedicine! lol

Re: Randomness

My horoscope for today...

Long ago and far away, you once had a lovely dream. Years passed. Nothing happened. Or rather, plenty happened - but none of it seemed to have any connection to your vision. You can hardly recall whatever it was that once meant so much. Times have changed and so have you. The notion that now, you could finally be in a position to fulfil that aspiration seems more disturbing than inspiring. You are not sure you care any more. Or so you think. But soon you'll think differently. And you'll love this return to the past.

For once, feels kinda accurate.  Been thinking about getting back into screenwriting.  But I'm not sure if it's worth the heartache.
