Hey everyone,
Im Hope, just wanted to say hello!! Love the site~
Soo... for those of you who have met him, can you tell me what his personality is like? Is he warm and sesnitive like Adam or dorky and quirky like Eli? He is definately diverse in his acting. Have a great day everyone!!:D

Welcome, welcome!

Chris is both of those things, Novice. On the set of the aborted Revenge Of The Nerds remake, he was very goofy and outgoing. To be fair, he was drinking lots of Red Bull to keep his energy up for this zany comedy.

But when we sat down with him, ge got kinda quiet and introspective. That was what he was like this last time too. Very Adamy. You know that they had to mic him up special on JoA, right? Because he insisted that Adam was a quiet guy and rarely raised his voice. Chris also told us that as time went on, Adam became, "more like me than anything else". And let me tell you, it's a bit tricky capturing him on tape in interviews. After the first half of our first interview came out so faint, we had him put the recording device on his leg so we could pick him up better.

So I would say he's both introverted and extroverted, depending on the circumstances. And I can tell you for certain that he's warm, sweet and very thoughtful. You should see how kind he is to everyone, from the top to the bottom of the rung.

He also makes great eye contact, gives terrific hugs, and he has a wonderful laugh. If you read our accounts of meeting him and listen to the audio clips of our interviews, you'll get an excellent sense of what he's like as a person.

Let's just say he's totally worthy of our adoration in every way.

Hi Novice, welcome to the board! Glad to have you.

I can only second what Deb said about Chris. I only met him once, together with Deb, at the set of Revenge of the Nerds. You should read our "trip report" and the interviews we have on the site, it'll tell you a good deal about what he's like. If I had to sum him up in three words: Total sweetie pie. He couldn't have been nicer to us. He was very accomodating and open and generous. He and Kyle (Newman = director of both Fanboys and ROTN) made us spend the whole day on the set, even got us sort of VIP places where we could see better how they shot the scenes. They let us hang out at the set and pretty much roam free. They were both absolutely great.

Chris couldn't be more down to earth. He can be quirky and maybe even dorky (not that I could really judge that after watching him for only half a day) and he had moments where he went all quiet and Adamy on us. He's well-spoken and I dare say very grown-up. Certainly more so than what I was like at his age. His mom Tisha occasionally e-mails us, and even after putting what she tells us through the mom-filter, he must be an amiable young man; she definitely has every reason to be proud of him.

Let's just say he's totally worthy of our adoration in every way.

Thank you all so much for the information and warm welcome! I took the liberty of checking out the audio from the interview and yes he is soft spoken, but it is really nice to know that there are actors out there that are still true to themselves and not your stereotypical hollywood types! Your stories only add to the respect that I have for Chris!

Us meeting him only added to the respect we had for him too. He really is as nice as they get. And I'm quite sure it won't be the last time we've spoken to him. Just stay tuned for future opportunities that we'll just grab as they come along.

Definitely no star trips with this guy. He's just a busy, working actor who really doesn't seem to understand the true impact he has on people. We're trying to correct that. Not to inflate his ego. Just to make sure he knows that there are tons of us out here who really dig his stuff, ya know?

And yes, it is nice to see that not everyone in Hollywood is completely nuts.
