Effing excellent show. I love it. Shawn Hatosy and Tom Everett Scott are both regulars. I also love Regina King. And a stunning aside at the end (which I wonder if people even picked up on) is that the big, badass training officer is apparently a butch queen. He appears to be at a gay bar in the last scene of the pilot. I thought it was weird that he was drinking a Corona instead of a macho beer like Bud, then the camera pulls back and the place is filled with Marlboro Men. Wow.

Tight writing, great performances. This one has a TON of potential.

I like this show too. Found it thanks to IMDB once again. I was checking out some OC actors' profiles since I've been watching that a lot now that the reruns are on Finnish tv.. SouthLAnd looks great. Different. Awesome. It's getting better each episode.

I agree. I didn't even mind that Ben & John weren't in the last ep at all. All the characters are good enough to hold my attention.
