It's the little one, so it's just taped to the one next to it. I've done it before so it really wasn't a big deal.

Yeah, I have too. Jammed it on a doorframe. I've also broken my big toe. Kicking a metal door while wearing Chucks. Not a good idea. Hope it doesn't give you too much trouble and pain.

My toe's actually not a big deal. I'm on crutches because of my ankle and I hate them... I've been getting around like Joan at the end of No Bad Guy.

I feel you on that one. When I broke my ankle in '03, I had a rough time with them too. Hope you don't have to stay on them too long.

Hope you heal soon, Laura. A sprained ankle sucks, I know from experience. It's amazing how you take two working legs for granted, until something's suddenly wrong with them...

After suffering a headache from all the meetings at work, i decided to relax in the bath. As i am an idiot in determining the correct temperature for water, i made it near boiling and got in.
Legs was able to take the warm water. Something else wasn't. I've never seen myself get out a bath soo quickly.

Bought a bottle of Pepsi Throwback.
Instead of sweetened with corn syrup, it's the way they did it decades ago. With real sugar.
It doesn't leave that aftertaste in your mouth like regular pop.
It tastes "lighter".
If I can find it in a 24 pack I'll buy it.

They have both Coke and Pepsi with sugar instead of corn syrup in the spring every year. It's Kosher for Passover. Looks like Pepsi is test-marketing with this to see if it might seel all year round. People are finally catching on to the fact that corn syrup is evil.

Do you go to ethnic stores much, Illinois? I saw this very intresting report about it on ABC World News Tonight the week before Passover. The Coke has a yellow cap. They said you can get it in specialty stores and ethnic grocery stores and they talked about how Coke & Pepsi would be test marketing beyond the spring this year to see if it would sell. So many people have become aware of the fact that corn syrup is just garbage with no nutritional value that's simply making us fat. And a lot of them are looking for sugar alternatives, but some people are going back to plain old "natural" sugar. It's not nearly as bad for us.

My Lacey passed two summers ago at 17. She was doing OK until the last couple of years. It was sad to watch her deteriorate and terribly hard to let her go.

I once heard about a cat who was 23 when she died. Don't know if that's true though. And one of my friends had a dog who was also 21 years old.
When Momo died in February at 19 years, I was so sad and I still miss her so much. I still remember the day I saw her for the first time.
Part of me wants to adopt a "new" cat. Not as a replacement for Momo of course, nobody can replace her, but my apartment is just too small for a cat. It's just one room and since it's on the first floor it doesn't have a garden. Well, maybe in the next apartment.

Cats tend to live longer than dogs. I find that unfair.

Kinda hard to be loving to an animal that has started pooping all over the house, wherever he wants. Kinda takes the romance out of the relationship, if you know what I mean. I have to keep my bathroom door shut now because he keeps using the rugs in there for a toliet and I'm tired of washing them. I also have to keep my laundry basket closed up in my spare room for the same reason.
