Re: Garages/Yard Sale finds

Last summer me, Whinnie and Shawn were garage sale hoping with Liam.  even though we had the money to pay what they asked for everything, as soon as the ladies found out Whinnie was a single mother they cut the prices for us.  We got more clothes than we could carry for $25, Shawn got a few weird little trinkets for five bucks, and we got Liam a bunch of toys for free.

Re: Garages/Yard Sale finds

Haven't been to one in years.  Used to go a lot with my stepmom when I was a kid.  Mostly, I looked for books and records.  Yeah, that's VINYL to you kiddies.

I do, indeed.  I've got a million of 'em.  And I'm totally jealous that you found ID4 and a Cornelius from POTA.

Re: Garages/Yard Sale finds

I am not big on garage sales.. yet this year at least. Not alot in the area. But we have tons of thrift stores I go to regularly. some of my items bought include

Mens xl shirt $3
Tommy the movie Front: lyrics
Back: that deaf dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball.. i need to take a picture

Disney figurine $10
its a 1940-1960 style Cinderella.. she has a porcelain face and on ebay people are selling her for as high as 80

Chef spice rack: $5
Includes 10 little chef guys. 2 are salt and pepper shakers. It also includes the wooden spice rack to hold them
The other 8 chef guys' hats come off and you can store differnent spices in them

Taz Cookie jar: $4.00
Its this amazing cookie jar of taz from looney toones in a hurricane of cookie parts. his head comes off and hes a cookie jar. The whole cookie jar is mostly his head its fairly large and printed and not hand made.

Tie for my boyfriend: .50
Its a silk tie with all the old computers and printers from the 90s.
Hes currently working this summer in British Columbia as an engineering student so this is on its way to be shipped!!

I have found tons of great deals on dishes and things for the move!

big_smile I love going to thrift stores and i hope the garage sales do start soonish

Patience pays.  Unfortunately, I think my patience gene is recessive because I don't seem to have any.
