BTW, there are two new Crop Circles that are totally man-made, but pretty cool nonetheless...

And back to our talk of UFOs for a second. Someone in South Carolina got very clear pics of what might be a new secret military plane. And it looks very much like the black triangles people have been reporting for decades. See the pics here...

I recently came across an article on Secret Sun that talked about these craft possibly being part some sort of surveillance program. The literal Eye In The Sky, which may be why they're always described as silent. Fascinating stuff.

These aren't the first clear pics of this type of craft that I've seen, but they're certainly the clearest.

Pretor-Pinney, who never studied meteorology, believes the clouds merit their own cumulus sub-classification. He proposes they be called altocumulus undulatus asperatus. The last word — Latin for roughen or agitate — is a reference to the clouds' undulating surface.

Because it's very weird and not much like anything we've seen before. That's the point. Did you read the article? Sounds like a real story to me. And I've seen some very weird skies in Kansas, so it wouldn't surprise me to see something like that in Iowa. Those flat lands draw very fierce storms. I'm sure Carol has some hellacious storm stories.

I've been meaning to try this for a while, and today I finally sat down and printed it out. I had a Sirius Black Wanted poster hanging in that spot in my bathroom for a long time, but I wanted something new. I think it'll need some getting used to, but I do like it. (And, no, I didn't choose those tiles, they were in there when I rented the place. I think they're kinda ugly, though I guess it could be worse.)

It's not a cough or anything like that. I'm not in pain. The best way to describe it is that my breathing pattens are not the same than they were before. It's like i'm breathing as if it's hot, but it's not. I don't think it's major, as i don't even think about it when i'm doing things, and i'm the kind of person that if i think of something, then my body will react as if it's happening. It seems to be happening when i'm not doing anything, which leads me to believe that it's mostly my mind wanting it to happen. If you understand that.

Sounds like a spell I had years back. For like 5 weeks, I'd wake up and wheeze, couldn't really catch my breath. I didn't have central air conditioning in that house so I'd have to go stick my face in the window unit air conditioner until I caught my breath. Then, I'd make a pallet on the floor right under the A/C unit with the couch cushions and sleep there so I could breathe. I never went to the doc about it back then. If I'd had a rescue inhaler, I probably would've been all right. It still happens to me on occasion, but now I just take a couple of puffs of the medicine and I'm fine.

Sounds kind of like me, Simon. I have acute asthma that really flares up when it's hot out. Like Deb said, if you're having trouble breathing, you should probably ask if you can get an inhaler.

My friend and former roommate Casey just came by with her new puppy, Bodhi so Dixie and I could meet him. She's going out of town and wants me to babysit later this month. He's about 4 months old and he's a rescued Royal Bahamian Potcake. He's very sweet and mellow and gentle. And skinny, but handsome...
