Yeah, he's got a helluva drawl, that's for sure.  And I'm a sucker for a shy, sweet man.

Re: Friday Night Lights

Yeah but im not too fussy. Street is so gorgeous too. Tim is a stunner. Love the cast. Great to watch wink Also there is something just so perfect about the opening credits. It just has a different feel to the show but it suits it so well. I dunno im just rambling

Re: Friday Night Lights

Dude, I LOVE the credit sequence.  I play the drums along with it every time.  It's one of my all time favorite TV themes.  Snuffy Walden rules!

Re: Friday Night Lights

lol HAAA hahaahahaha. But yes he is verrrrrrrry sexy! There is just something about a troubled young man on screen that is so hot that would be repulsive in real life.

I think casting is amazing in this show. They can all actually act and all are so hot without appearing fake. I am so glad i checked this show out Deb. Most definitely one of my favourites EVER and i havent even finished the first season. I think its brilliant. I just hope that they keep it so good. Just watched the episode last night about the racism. I really like how well that was done, but also loved "Look i know we have been going out for awhile now but we never made it official, will you be my girlfriend?" OHHHHHH so puppy dog as he says this! Love it. Also i seriously think the whole state of Texas would be in trouble if i was to ever visit. That drawl. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH smile I think everyone should get into this show now.... Pity it doesnt have Chris on it. But i cant see him playing any of the roles they already have on the show. But there is enough eye candy to satisfy, and real acting ability. Far too many shows these days will have one or the other.

Re: Friday Night Lights

Couldn't have said it better myself.  The second season was cut short by the writer's strike, unfortunately.  And now they only do 13 eps a season because they're more or less a cable show.  The second season takes some wild turns.  The show has been a bit unpredictable.  But I actually like that.  It toys with expectations, but the core people remain who they are and you can't help but love them.  Even if you don't always like them.

Re: Friday Night Lights

Well im about bit over half way through the first season and i am already a MASSIVE fan. Will have to wait and watch the other seasons. I hate how nothing ever comes out to Australia. But apparently this show is on cable here. I was bragging about it at dinner and my brother's girlfriend (she has cable) told me she hadnt seen the show but was fairly sure she had seen an add for it. I just hope these wild turns arent too wild and end up stupid. I hate the ratings type shows when you can just picture the writers...."OH NO we are dropping in ratings QUICK, get this girl pregnant, have this person die, a kidnapping would be good. How about all three in one episode?" Bloody idiots. Sometimes i swear they have no idea that real life drama can be interesting to. You dont HAVE to go to extremes to enjoy something. Best example ever would be JoA with Adam and Joans relationship. LOVED it. The part where they tried to make it more interesting and extreme just made us dislike it. And i seriously love how sweet and innocent Saracen is with Julie. Being scared of her father makes me giggle a little too. But it must be hard and i LOVE that. The normalcy of any show is what makes it so great and wonderful. I love how they show a loving married couple fighting, because that doesnt mean they dont love each other and arent happy. I love when they show the awkwardness of a new relationship. If its done properly and explored beautifully they dont need a meteor crashing to earth just to try and make something interesting. *sigh*

(My rant for the day smile)

Re: Friday Night Lights

There's a sensationalistic-seemingly out of left field development in S2.  And most people didn't like it, but the second time around, it's better.  My love for the show never waivered because of it.

Re: Friday Night Lights

That episode destroyed me! I was crying through most of it, and the acting was just amazing. This show nails it every time.

Re: Friday Night Lights

Unfortunately, I had to watch it on freakin' Megavideo because the jerk who uploads it to EZTV still has not uploaded The Son.  Anyone else know where I can D/L the ep so I can see it properly?  I didn't get to enjoy it nearly as much as I should've because the quality was terrible.

Re: Friday Night Lights

Clear eyes. Full Hearts... Yeah, we'll deal with that later.

Jesus, I cried ALL THE WAY THROUGH the Friday Night Lights finale. Best last show ever. Words cannot express how I feel right now.

Texas forever.
