This is where you should post your all time favorite JoA scene.
Mine? The last scene from P.O.V. where Adam and Joan watch the home videos of Adam's mom together and he ends up crying in Joan's arms. So sad, so heartbreaking. Love it. <sniff>

My all time favorite scene is the last scene from Recreation where Joan and Adam are dancing in the backyard of Joan's house after the "party".
But there are a lot more scenes I love very much.

Good Lord, I can't pick just one. But, I probably can pick just one that's my favorite TODAY. Since I just watched The Gift last night, I've gotta pick the hotel room scene. It just kills me. There's so much going on for both of them in that scene. It's really beautiful. And that kiss...

Oh yes, those are also all favorites of mine, especially the P.O.V. one, like I already said up there.

So far (only just saw Anonymous), definately in the end of "Jump" when they kiss with the feathers.
I thought it was so romantic, sweet, and adorable. Just love it!!!
Although there are other Adam and Joan scenes I love as well, this is my favourite.

Friday Night, the kiss on the front porch. Wow!

My favorite scene from Jump is the one where Helen reads the letter to Adam (and Joan). There are so many little nuances in that scene, and Adam and Helen together is always a reason to love a scene. Though I would have to agree, the feather kiss scene is definitely also very sweet.

I love the scenes from Jump too, but my alltime favorite scene is still the end of Recreation.

My all time favorite scene is in "St. Joan":
I love it when the Girardi's are in with the therapist and Joan thinks the therapist is God because of the assignment. I love when Joan says, "Are you a therapist or are you, You? Blink twice if you know what I mean." Then the therapist blinks only once and Joan's family just looks at her as if she's crazy so she quickly responds, "I'm not crazy".

Yeah, that's a pretty funny moment. LOL It made me laugh out loud when I watched it for the first time. In fact I still have to grin about it.

I've been trying to think about this - all time favourite scene. It's hard to only pic one. But I can give you a few of my top scenes from the 2 seasons:
Almost every scene in Jump is noteworthy. But especially Grace talking to Joan about Adam and how he used to be. The science fair, of course. And most of all the reading of Adam's mother's letter.
Grace & Luke's kiss in Silence.
Joan & Adam's kiss in Do The Math. That was really sweet.
Grace & Adam's talk in the science closet in Shadows and Light. I love any scene between Grace & Adam basically, I love their friendship, as understated as it is they mean a lot to each other. This is also why I love Common Thread.
Trial & Error, as tragic as it is, I do love this episode. I love several Adam scenes, like the one when he's at Bonnie's then goes out in the hallway and just leans against the wall. - What can I say, I love the way he leans (My So Called Life, anybody?).
I love the final ever scene in SWTWC, Joan glances back at her "army". Damn, it could have been great.
Obviously that's a lot of scenes, but I can't just give ya one. There's too many that rock.

"So basically I'm on my own." I love that! It gives you a good grin. It's just sad that it's the definitive end of the show.

Oh, and I also love it when Joan gets stuck in the washing machine in "No Bad Guy." I'm sorry but that was just too hilarious and I was laughing so hard.
Also, in Vanity, Thy Name is Human, when God said "I'm absolute", and Joan said "I thought that was Vodka." That was really good. (I was almost going to write Jane there )
But I have way too many favourite moments well. If I wrote them all down...it would take a long time.

I just watched Point of View last night and I must add one more and agree with TeeJay- when they're watching the home videos and Adam cries in Joan's arms. That scene is so terribly sad but also beautiful. It's the first JoA episode I cried in:(

Lol, no problem, I'll probably be doing this regularly.
This is truly a great show.....very unique, and now, it's off the air. Honestly, most of the tv shows on now are crap. I really should have watched this show on the air!

Got to be the scene in No Bad Guy where Adam goes to visit Joan and he plays with her toes and tells her that he just wants her to like *him* and she days she "More than likes [him]." Love love love that scene.
Sorry about the gushing, can't help it.:)

Hi allatraka, glad you made it over here from the IMDb boards! Hope you find lots of stuff to talk about. We always love to talk about JoA, it's my all time favorite show.
I love the scene you mentioned too, it has gotta be one of the most subdued but still powerful Adam/Joan moments. In that scene they said more in between the lines than with the words they uttered. Truly magical. Great acting and directing.
