"other" boards

I post to a lot of boards, most of which have the "PM" facility that allows posters to send personal messages to one another. Well, the other day, I left an explicitly anti-Republican joke/message on the boards, and got a "PM" from a chap that was, in a word, hateful. Some people need to get a sense of humour :clueless:

Just curious .... How do board punters feel about "Once and Again," and "Relativity," which were both telly shows about actual, recognizable people. I miss 'em both, and watched a few episodes of "Relativity" that I had recorded earlier this year, right before my VCR gave up the ghost.

I'm not exactly sure how this one particular nutbag got my personal info, but I do know that he followed me from IMDb to here and from here to my MySpace page. When I told him to stop PMing me on IMDb, he accused me of setting him up for an abuse report. Well, yeah, I would've reported him if he'd kept PMing me. But instead he got my Yahoo email address and spent one Saturday afternoon calling me the most sickening names you've ever heard. And he made sure he posted where I live and links to pictures of me on IMDb so he could make fun of me for being "old" and "fat". He also made some very sick remarks about Chris. Since Yahoo has no reporting function for when you're being attacked over their email system, the only thing I could do was block him.

There have been others as well. That creepy hersheyskiss is at it again on Chris's IMDb board --- but I never read her crap anymore. She has a little buddy there who's even worse than she is. And then there was that freak on the Race To Witch Mountain board who also took to personally attacking me.

What I don't get is why people can't argue about movies and stuff without attacking posters they don't agree with. It's bizarre.

yes, the characters in " once and again " do act like a lot of people i know too.
