Fault Line - New Project???

Check it out...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1469876/

Obviously one of the "friend" projects.  It sounds very much like the plot for the unsold TV pilot, except the cast is slightly different.  So why would it suddenly appear as a 2009 credit?  Very strange...

Re: Fault Line - New Project???

It does.  I'm always down for these types of intimate indie projects and I love that cast.  The only trouble is that a lot of times, these movies never get off the ground at all and even if they do get shot, they never get released.  Drives me crazy that we'll probably never see Sugar Mountain or Fellowship, small movies that Aaron Himelstein made with Chris that have never been released anywhere.  sad

Re: Fault Line - New Project???

I think society needs a reality check, instead of doing stupid romantic comedies(which are in good fun but there are too many) and so on do indies!!!! They are honeslty the best out there.

Re: Fault Line - New Project???

Yep.  And I love that Chris and his friends --- especially Aaron and Luke Eberl --- make their own movies.  I just wish they could find a way to get them released.  I'd pay to download them somewhere.  There needs to be a market for this stuff!  I feel so lucky that we finally got to see Choose Connor.  It's such a good tiny little movie.  And Chris's one scene is just BLAM!!!  Emotionally shattering, as is his ultimate fate.  I admire Luke's achievement with that film.  It's a gem.

Choose Connor is on my Netflix list... I noticed it has the cute kid from Max Keebles Big Move and Home Alone 3, Alex D Linz.

Definitely, hopefully soon something happens and there stuff gets released!

Yeah, he's growing up nicely.  Excellent in the movie as is the guy who plays Caleb, hot too.

Someone just needs to invent and indie sales portal for the web that lets anyone sell their movies there.

Re: Fault Line - New Project???

Yea who could we contact and recommend they do that lol?

I saw a recent pic of him with longer hair and he kinda looks like Trevor Morgan, the kid from Jurassic Park 3. IMO I think they should make another one, I can't get enough of well made dinosaur movies.

No idea...

LOL!  I only ever saw the first one.  Wouldn't mind seeing the others some day.  I'm just a small movie nut.  The blockbusters rarely even register with me.  Yeah, I'm weird.

That's not weird at all, I'm a dinosaur graboid reptile loving freak. But also I love indies, they have a soft spot in my heart.

Re: Fault Line - New Project???

Oh, hey, that's pretty cool.  big_smile

Me, I'm a mushball.  Crying is my favorite thing.  And just generally observing the human condition.  I'd rather watch a really great drama than anything.  And romance and mystery are cool.  Dry, dark wit is also one of my favorite things.  I'm not into gore, especially the torture porn or slasher kind.  And I am incredibly picky about my sci-fi.  Not crazy about CGI "animation".  I love documentaries, especially about the arts.  I have a huge thing for bio-pics and true-crime movies.  Sports dramas.  Animal movies --- as long as they don't talk, though thinking out loud is cool.  I'll watch anything about American Indians.  Or The Appalachians.  Inside Hollywood stuff...

Re: Fault Line - New Project???

I love the occasional tear-jerker, but I think i like to be thrilled and scared just as much. Dry dark wit rocks, I want more movies with it. Gore doesn't really bother me, Hostel is the movie it sounds like your describing lol, I liked hostel tho... I'm not really picky when it comes to movies.

So as far as animal movies go that think out loud, Homeward Bound??

Yes, Homeward Bound.  And this beautiful movie called Fluke.  Love them!

I just don't watch torture movies.  Just can't.  I love psychological thrillers like Silence Of The Lambs and The Sixth Sense though.  That kind of scare is great.  Don't like stuff about demons though.

I hope this movie gets released someday and I wonder how big of a role Chris has in the movie.

See?  That's what I mean.  A good cry.  I cannot watch the scene where Fluke is in the lab and they screw up his eyes with the chemicals, but the rest of the movie, I love.
