Chris isn't in it a whole lot. Well, he's onscreen a lot, but he doesn't have a lot of lines. You might be frustrated if you watch it just for him, or go way out of your way to see. Not trying to discourage you, just don't want you to be disappointed. There are videoclips in the media section that have the best of his part in it.

I like the movie. But there's a lot more in it for me than most.

Okay, this is not gonna interest anyone but maybe me and Anne, but I can't hold back. I already posted that in Germany they're only gonna have one DVD edition and not two like in the US and UK. And apparently the German DVD is like the US 2-disc edition, only without the extra digital copy DVD. The German DVD is gonna have the movie plus the deleted scenes and the bloopers. So, Anne, if you wanna buy the movie, maybe you wanna wait for the German DVD, which will of course also have the German audio track.

I saw the DVD, and I enjoyed it. Partly I'm sure because it did a nice job of capturing the feeling of those fun dumb disney movies of my childhood. Chris was part of the strange/interesting casting in this movie. The main government badguy is a complete cardboard villian played by a guy who often plays cardboard villians. Yet his henchmen are more fun and 3 dementional and played by more serious actors tom Everett Scott and Chris.

Also loved Kim Richards' cameo

Yeah, seeing Kim and Ike was one of my favorite things too. Ike even got to be a wee bit badass. You think Ciaran Hinds plays too many cardboard villains? I haven't seen him in much of anything, but I thought he made a great Julius Caesar in Rome. I'm sooooooo excited about the idea of him and Chris playing Bill & Billy Maplewood in Life During Wartime. That should definitely be blissfully cardboard-free.

I've seen RTWM 3 times now and I gotta say, the opening credit sequence is still my absolute favorite thing in the whole movie. As a far out space nut, let me just say they got that COMPLETELY RIGHT.

Oh, and I loved the movie. I think the few lines that Chris had, were some of the best lines in the whole movie. And loved his facial impressions.

He does! That pic from the Gotham Awards last week is just gorgeous and grown-up. I want to see more pics from the event so badly, especially now that I know Amber was there too. I looked around and I asked around and nothing more has surfaced so far.
