I can't wait to see The Open Road in theaters. I'm a major fan of Justin Timberlake!

I love Jeff Bridges and especially Mary Steenburgen of course so if it plays in Atlanta, I'm there.

I definitely love Mary Steenburgen as well. She was amazing in The Proposal. Have you seen it, Deb?

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I thought the parents (MS and Craig T. Nelson) were pretty much wasted.  Betty White had some funny stuff to
do, but everyone over 40 who wasn't Sandra Bullock didn't get to shine much, IMO.  It was a cute movie, but it
didn't stick with me.  If you miss it at the cheap theater, maybe catch it on disk if you feel like it.

Is this pic from a new or old Cold Case ep?  Is that show even on anymore?

Kate Mara is a not-so-secret passion of mine. I always wonder whatever became of her character on 24 ?

Kate Mara played "Shari Rothenberg" during Day 5 of "24".

I found out what became of her here:

http://24.wikia.com/wiki/Shari_Rothenberg

I love "24" a lot, but they often bring on characters and have them vanish with nary a word yikes

I saw that but forgot all about it.  I remember Edgar dying of course.  That was heartbreaking.  Have you seen The Californians?  I love her in that.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Ironically, Cheech & Chong did a 24 spoof in this Mad Tv ep with Bobby Lee where it was basically 24 hours of watching the three of them get stoned.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

OK, Mae Whitman's not a co-star, but a friend of Chris's and she did that play with Mike & Aaron that we saw in LA, so close enough.  She's in a movie on Lifetime tonight with Joan Cusack, who a lot of us love.  Sounds really cool.  My bet is it's another theatrical movie that Lifetime bought and is presenting as a "Lifetime Original", which only mean it hasn't been on TV before.  Anyway, it's called Acceptance...

Here's a very good synopsis:  http://www.fayobserver.com/Articles/2009/08/21/925023

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

LOL!  I just learned that it was Jason Ritter week on The Craig Ferguson Show.  Apparently, he was on the show every night this week.  How does that happen???  What'd he do?  Plug every movie he's made in the last few years?  Does he have the best publicist ever?  WTF?  He was funny tonight, plugging Good Dick.  He's been with his girlfriend for 10 years???  Hee.  I wanna meet this dude.  He just seems like a sweet guy.

While I'm noticing all the shows Chris has connections to where people should lobby to get him a guest role, let's not forget Three Rivers, which is the show I'm most looking forward to> Alex O'Laughlin could get him a job...  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1440346/
