Re: Taking Woodstock

Sometimes at a movie theater I go to, you can ask for free movie posters at the info desk.  I asked about this one because I want it really bad but they just lazily said they don't know [and they don't care].  Anyway, I'm looking forward to this one too!

Yeah, don't you love asking an employee for help only to find that they couldn't give a rat's ass?

Re: Taking Woodstock

Dave and I will go on Saturday.  We're both totally geeked up for it.  I'm also a huge Demitri Martin fan and I also love Dan Fogler so I'm over the moon for this one.  Of course, I also dig Ang Lee's movies and grew up on Eugene Levy.  How can it fail to be awesome?

Re: Taking Woodstock

That's the beauty of it... it can't! big_smile I'm most excited to see Paul. He looks the absolute cutest from what I've seen in pics. Even if he's only in it for a minute, seeing him with long hair is LOVE. wink

I can't wait to see Taking Woodstock. I saw Post Grad today so I won't go to another movie until next week. This will definitely be the next movie I see.  = )

It was very cute and funny. Alexis Bledel was so pretty and amazing in the movie. Zach Gilford is a hottie. <3

Re: Taking Woodstock

OK, definitely gotta see that one.  Though with my finances and possible future joblessness, I'll have to wait for video.

Re: Taking Woodstock

LOVED THE MOVIE!!!

Demetri could not be more adorable if he tried.  Ang shot him very lovingly.  In some scenes, he's just too cute for words.  I loved Dan Fogler's character, Devon too.  He was HIGHlarious!  Paul Dano was awesome too in his one scene.  And Emile finally got fully frontally nude close enough to the camera for his EB to be able to inspect his naughty bits in detail.  LOL!

All in all, a very entertaining, trippy little movie that I will definitely own on DVD.  big_smile

Re: Taking Woodstock

ok I have a serious question regarding this movie. I have seen it over and over again and a couple people have said that Chris makes an appearance in this movie, uncredited. I know that a handful of people he's worked with are in it so I could see how he may have just done a stand in scene or whatever just to do it but I've watched it since and am convinced that they are wrong. Am I blind or are they crazy? lol.

Who said that?  It's not true as far as we know.

Re: Taking Woodstock

This girl who I'm friends with on facebook (but is just an acquaintance from high school) made her status saying that she loves this movie and there are all these great people in it and listed them and said "chris marquette-even though he's uncredited" and someone else posted that they can't believe that he wasn't credited for his part.

It's on HBO as we speak and I'm watching it again and I don't see anyone in it that could be him. I think she was probably just mistaken.

Re: Taking Woodstock

I've seen it three times --- once in the theater.  I'm a huge Demetri Martin fan and Dan Fogler's in it too so how could I resist?  Chris is not in it.  I'm very curious as to where she thinks she saw him though.  Let us know if you can ever narrow that down.

Re: Taking Woodstock

yeah definitely! like I said, I'm watching it now and I can't even see anyone in it that remotely could be him. Unless she was zooming in on all of the extras. lol.
