Brad Pitt into Sherlock Holmes (not as rude as it sounds)

I was wondering why BP was sporting a beard when he was on Real Time the other night. He apparently is being added to the Guy Ritchie take on Sherlock Holmes, playing Moriarity.

Well, that's pretty cool, but what are they doing, just sticking him in at the end to set up a sequel?

Wasn't he awesome on Maher?  I watched it twice.  He was just very funny, I thought.  I hope Bill can get him on the panel someday.

On German radio this morning they said that now they "suddenly" discovered that Holmes' arch enemy is missing from the story and that they're writing him in. To what extent, I have no idea.

I read that the producers saw the finished cut & were not impressed, hence air-lifting BP into the film in an attempt to save it, possibly :clueless:
