Adam & Helen

I just want to say that we all know the big moments between these two --- in Jump first and foremost of course.  And this is a thread where we can discuss those things.  But there are so many more.  They have some great ones.

I'm watchng The Rise And Fall Of Joan Girardi and it's not an ep we really think of as heavy A/J.  But it actually has some really sweet stuff between them.  And the scene with Adam and Helen where he's upset because his boss at the design studio stole his layout for an ad campaign is wonderful.  She says the perfect thing, that now he knows his work is good enough to steal.  I shudder to think what would have happened to Adam without Helen.

More to come...

Re: Adam & Helen

Yeah, they have indeed some great moments. Don't forget the ones from Uncertainty Principle and Silence.

Then of course there's the one in The Cat, where she tells him he might have a real future in commercial design. Yeah, I just love those two together.

Re: Adam & Helen

I love the scene between those two where she walks into his shed and he's all surprised and she asks him to do her a favor and he's just like yeah, without even asking what it is first. it's a real relatioship of trust. I always like contrasting it to his relationship with Mr. Price and how he thinks Price is just like this pahntom that sucks all the good things out of someone.
I find the Mr. Price character so interesting. First of all, his name is Price; "soulless and corporate" ringing a bell? (Does Price remind you of Les Moonves? Ick.) And when Adam says he steals all of people's great abilities and hides them in a coffin: he doesn't steal them to use them, he steals them and hordes them up. I think in season three Ryan would have used Price to do some real damage. As oppsed to Mrs. Girardi, who is this nurturing creature that allows for other people to grow. Hmmm...maybe in that storyline Joan would bring him "back into the light" through her mother?

Re: Adam & Helen

I can totally see Price being a tool of the devil.  Totally.  LOL!  And with Ryan worming his way into the school, it was only a matter of time before Ryan pulled him over to the darkside.

But then, I also think that was the plan for Adam.  He was already kind of separated from Joan, kind of corrupted by the Bonnie situation.  I think one of the things we would've seen in Season Three was a battle between Joan and Ryan for nothing less than Adam's soul.
