Yep, October '08 was pretty awesome. But... I might have a blind date on Oct 04, 2009. big_smile Cross your fingers that it'll go well, will you?

Re: Randomness

I'm excited.  One of my favorite UFO researchers, Jose Escamilla --- who is my friend on Facebook --- sent me a copy of his screenplay for The Battle Of Los Angeles today.  I can't wait to read it!  I'm not sure if it's the one that's actually been optioned for a feature film, or if he's writing his own project also based on the infamous incident.  Either way, it should be very interesting.  big_smile

What infamous incident ?

At a certain part in your life. Probably when too much of it has gone by. You will open your eyes and see yourself for who you are. Especially for everything that made you so different from all the awful normals.

Re: Randomness

Hahaha I always get new cameras for my birthday....well I have gotten 4 in total. I keep breaking them. But they arent always my fault! This last one that I got given on my 21st was one of those, "unbreakable" drop from 4metres underwater ones. Within 2 months I had to get it fixed. Luckily still under warranty this time and I have had an issue since. Somehow the flash was dislodged inside the camera so all my photos taken where a flash was needed was completely white. I really have had the worst luck with cameras. But gotta love the happy snaps smile

Re: Randomness

So I'm definitely going to be jobless again in November, but the good thing is I'll have the whole October off and still get the money for it.
I should be happy, but I'm not. There was a time I really loved working there. sad

Re: Randomness

Today I had a crazy shoppingtrip with my daughter. Three hours! It was fun but I'm starting to feel it tiring me now. It took her an hour to eat at a all-you-can-eat-place. I had three coffees there. tongue Yummy. Haven't had coffee in weeks. It was good food, not too greasy. I didn't have any of the pizzas because I considered myself lucky to not have any Gerdy nausea coming after one plate of salad and one plate of cream potatoes, hot wings, fried fish and lasagna. big_smile And their pizzas seem to be so greasy they annoy the hell outa Gerdy. Then we went to two clothing stores to get R new clothes since she has grown out of so many. And I even got her a haircut in the mall-barber even tough it's ridiculously expensive. First I thought we'd both get a haircut, but adult's cut was over 40€ and I thought it was just crazy. All i need is a little trim on my bangs and cut of the beginning of a mullet in my neck.. My hair grows crazy fast. Like an inch every month. Can't wait to grow out of this short hair. It's cool but takes so much money to trim it every effing month!

Hubby ran away this weekend. No kidding. He got sick of this zoo and took off! he went on a weekend trip with his sis and her hubby. Rally stuff. Is it bad that I don't actually miss him? Gawd, I'm getting used to him being away so much.. I'm not even mad about his going away. I'm not even entitled to since I plan to run off one of the coming weekends. Going to spend the weekend at my friend's place 130km south. Taking Rebekka with me so it won't be just as awful for him as it is for me. These kids can drain a person! lol Then there's one weekend I'm celebrating my friend's bd but he won't have to look after kids more than on a usual that weekend anyways. Am I repeating my self? :embarrassed: I'm feeeling like I've written this before...

Re: Randomness

Sad to hear Samsy, but at least you will have October to go job hunting. Maria sounds like a weekend of running away could be good fun for both the hubby and yourself smile

And now for something completely random. GO CATS! Brilliant game, Saints you played well but just missed out. Chappy you are a fantastic player, a god among men! Well deserved Norm Smith! WOO! SUCH a good grand final!

Re: Randomness

I wanted to go a couple of years ago when the Fanboys gang was there, but that's the only time I've really wanted to.  And there's absolutely no way in hell I could ever afford it.  sad

Re: Randomness

That one's just too big. I'd prefer to go to DragonCon here in Atlanta.  In all these years, I've still never been.  But yeah, San Diego is quite beautiful and the weather there is amazing.  I have family in El Cajon that I could probably stay with, but there's still the matter of the flight and the tickets.  They're not cheap either.
