Just wanted to tell you that I am alive and sorry that I haven't been on very much lately. The job search takes its time. I had to go to the employment agency this morning to apply for my unemployment pay (that's what LEO provides for "Arbeitslosengeld"). I really hope to find a new job soon. This is humiliating.

I get to go to the unemployment office on Monday, myself. Need to get paid for the 2 weeks I'll be out of work. Still haven't gotten the official offer for the new job, but the new boss did send me an email yesterday to say that she's just been really busy and will get with me this week.

I got to get the h1n1 mist today I would have rather gotten the shot I can taste the medicine it's so gross. I've had 6 bottles of water and it hasn't helped

Today they told me how much money I'll get from the employment agency. This is a joke. From what I'll have to spend for rent, retirement provision and some other stuff I am going to have about 65 Euro to buy food from. Great. Thank God I was able to save quite something from the two years I belonged to the working class. *sigh*

It's the same way here. I'll get roughly half of what I earned on my job, which is not enough to live on by any stretch of the imagination. That's why I had to find money elsewhere.

Well, in three months from now, I'll be finished with the back pay I have to give to my landlord (for the additional costs of my apartment), so that means I'll have more money again in February. But it's still a joke. I hope to find a new job soon, I'm already working hard on applications, but where am I supposed to find a job if there aren't any?

What is it with people being in hospital this year? Today I went to see Lars and mollycoddle him at home. He was released from the hospital yesterday where he had to have emergency surgery for a slipped disc in his lumbar spine last Friday. I mean, it's amazing that he's already running around the way it is just a week after back surgery, but I've really had enough with friends being in and out of the hospital.

I also saw Diane at the Trekdinner on Friday, she's doing quite well.
