Just about the only holiday thing I won't eat is fruitcake. Ack! :puke:

We have a bit different holiday foods in Finland, but I've always wanted to taste those american foods. I'll bet I' like turkey even more than I like ham. I've always liked birds. And it's more healthy. Lately I've actually felt sick after eating red meat, especially pork. But still, I like the christmas ham. it's so good with all the yummy condiments. Last few years the turkey has made it's way to the Finnish table too. I wonder if it's harder to cook than ham.. Ofcourse I'd have to make all the american condiments then too...
But answer to your question: I like it all. I can't think of one I wouldn't want to atleast taste. Oh well, from Illinois' list I might say I'd propably like low fat eggnog over the regular too. And noup, eggnog really isn't very popular in Finnish holiday tables.

How could I forget Fruit Cake. Dislike it so much I forgot about it.
I've had ham before for the holidays before. But I hate honey-glazed, too sweet for my taste. I also think some people put mustard on top as well, again sound yucky to me.
I like just plain ham.
The thing is with the regular 'Full fat' Egg Nogg is that it just gives me the bloated, sick feeling. And that happens so quickly, about 1/2 cup is enough. Never had the alcohol version.

I love just about everything, except mincemeat.

I can't really think of anything I dislike. And trust me, I'm trying. Although I can some what agree with what many here have already said about mincemeat and egg nog. Although I like them, I need to be in a certain mood to really enjoy them. Mincemeat can leave a nasty aftertaste in my mouth if I'm not eating something else with it. And egg nog is just so heavy and rich, it can make me sick if I have more than one 16 oz cup of it. To tell you the truth, I don't even mind fruit cake. Mind you, I like it warm, with some sweet butter, so I eat it more like bread than cake, but I've never minded it too much.
As for what I especially love-
Pumpkin pie! Yum yum yum yum yum yum. Oh, and YUM!
Plumb pudding! My dad use to make this when I was little, and even as a tot I loved it. So rich, especially with the hard sauce that came with it. Ooh, was it good!
Cranberry sauce! It's basically cranberry jelly that you can spread on your toast. Sweeter than cranberry juice, I've never quite understood why some people don't like it. If you like jam/jelly, you should at least give it a try.
Apple Cider! Especially mulled and spiced and made at home. It starts arriving around Halloween, and with it brings the excitement that the holidays are coming.
Turkey! Ok, there's no way on earth I could forget the turkey. Especially with gravy.
My dad's Chicken Croquettes! He's made these every Thanksgiving and Christmas since I was a tot. He has a special touch, I'm tellin' ya. And the fricassee sauce that he makes for them is to die for, much like the hard sauce he made for the plumb pudding.
Gingerbread! Whether it's in the cookie form or the cake form with some whipped topping, it's so savory and spicy.
Apple Dumplings! More of a Halloween or Thanksgiving treat, it's been a family tradition of mine for many years. It's so yummy piping hot out of the oven with raisins, and with some heavy cream or half-and-half poured over.
Great Grandma's Apple Pie! Not just a holiday treat, but we have it more often this time of year. I won't give away all her secrets, but one of them is cinnamon hearts. Soooo good!
I'm sure there's more but I can't think of anything else right now. I hope I'm not making anyone hungry by listing these. Sorry :embarrassed:

I hate fruitcake. I liked sweet potatoes up until I was 12. I ate too much of them. my favorite is the turkey and honeybaked ham.

Our cafeteria today offered, among other things, turkey, mashed sweet potatoes, glazed carrots and cranberry sauce in the true Thanksgiving spirit. I basically had the turkey meal without the turkey (meaning only the carrots and the mashed potatoes with sauce). It was yummy! The brownies for dessert were even better.
I mostly spent my Thanksgiving evening making three different kinds of x-mas cookie dough. On Saturday I'm gonna meet with two friends and we're gonna do a x-mas cookie baking day together. Everyone's bringing two or three different doughs so that we end up with lots of different cookies at the end of the day.

I'm sorry I had to miss Thanksgiving, but things with Cooper went crazy and I have to send him to the Medion support guys (again something I don't know what to call it in English - I'm sorry, my English skills suck today ) so they can hopefully fix him.
I hugged the Seeker!
